RC left his mark in the history books of the Shiba Inu in a big way! Prior to AKC recognition and while still a very young dog, RC finished his NSCA championship in 3 straight shows, and was a multiple Best In Show winner! He had also sired 6 Best In Show winners during that time and was a Dog World Magazine Award Winner. After AKC recognition and upon arriving here at Gulf Wind, RC attained his AKC championship too and has become a well-known top producing sire, being a Register of Merit and Hall of Fame Titleholder. He consistently passed his beautiful head type and fun-loving personality on to his get - they are unmistakenly sired by RC! RC passed away late in 2001 and a hole will be left in our hearts that will never heal. We take comfort in his son, Ch TC, and his many grand and great-grandchildren here at Gulf Wind, who proudly carry on for him in grand style. We will always thank Kathy Brown-Truax, Foxtrot Shibas, for allowing this bold and incredibly dignified Shiba to become part of our breeding program and our lives. He will be missed terribly.
