The dogs are Newfoundlands and they belong to the couple who own and operate the "Pawfection Therapy Dogs." They own the dogs and train them for over 2 years before they are prepared (and have to pass OSHA tests I think) in order for them to have interaction with patients. Pawfection not only goes to schools, but hospitals, nursing homes, and other events to be with people. It is awesome "therapy" indeed. I schedule them once a month to come see my students, and invite other classes as well on those days.
