The guys worked hard to be respected for thier music, not to be drooled over. They wanna hear what great musicians they are, not what great eyes/asses/looks they have. That is why I love Rob........ because he writes from the heart about real things that have happened to real people - like himself - and that also makes me really respect the band in general.... they aren't singing about drugs, sex and lies........ they sing about REAL things......... like the REAL world......... like in the song Real World, it is all about how we want to be... free from all the hassles of life! They have this way of coming across in their music that I've never seen or heard before. Rob brings his emotions into his singing and performing, I don't know if that's because the events and feelings in his songs are personal experiances, which I think, for the most part they are, or because he is just such a strong person, and really gets wrapped up in his music. Their next single is 3AM and the video for that is due out in about two to three weeks. 2) My name is Stephanie, I live in Honduras. I'm Like the FAN NUMBER 1 in the whole world!!!! I wanna know if ROB THOMAS is married, cause I'm in love w/ him. Answer: Rob is not married. Last I heard he was in a relationship. 3) The first time I heard Hang it was like something hit me. I was like "Whoa that is a really good song." Everytime I hear this song it brings tears to my eyes. I think the song is soo beautiful and is sung with so much feeling. I think Rob is an amazing write and I would like to know what it was that inspired him to write such a GREAT song. If you have any info on this song, I would be forever grateful. It is said that Rob likes for people to interpret the lyrics. 4) I read on a webpage that Kyle only sings in "Hang" live. Well, I think he sings it on the CD. Their voices are similar, but I'm pretty sure that's him on the Cd. If I'm wrong, please inform me. -hanalah@erols.com Answer: And yes Kyle does sing the song on the cd. What he sings live he sings on the cd. 5) I was a little freaked out about this ex-girlfriend of Rob's threatening to sue for royalties on "Push" but then I heard that it was totally false and it was a publicity stunt started by some unknown person and blown out of porportion by MTV (big surprise). Not many, but enough to know that this one is a good one. The Very Unofficial Matchbox 20 Fan Page is owned and maintained by mb20girl@rocketmail.com. The first section I came across was the News section. This section had a lot of information...even some that I didn't know!! This section is updated frequently because it has chart status's on it. It also is cool because it has links to new sections on the site so you don't have to surf thru the whole page to find something new. The next section I thought was pretty cool too. This was the Song Interpretations. This section has interpretations from the band itself, not from other onlinners. It has a collection of quotes that the band members have said and discussed about the songs and what some of them mean. I found this cool since I've never seen that done before. Then there are the regular sections you would find on any page -- Complete Lyrics and Tabs (There are tabs for only 8 songs though) Then there is a Chat Room, Tour Dates (with venues listed as well as the cities), link to the Mailing List webpage, chat transcript links, audio links, a link section, a guestbook. There is also a Link to the Tabitha's Secret page, which we ALL know that that is Rob, Brian, and Paul's old band. This page is also part of the MB20 Ring. This MB20 page is very worthy of all you visiting it. I give it 5 stars.
