~An interview with a band that could make it big~

Here's something alittle different. This is an interview with a up-and-coming band called TbR. If you're in a band and would like something similer to this published in the 'zine please email one of us. On to the interview!!

1 -- Hey Tbr! First off let's start with this question... Where did you get the name for your band?
-- Ahh well our name TbR isnt a thing that many people know the meaning to....its kind of an inside band thing...but hey dont take it personal, our own mothers dont know... :)

2 -- Who all is in your band and what does each member play?
-- Pete-Guitar/vocals Ken-Bass/vocals Keith-Drums

3 -- Do you have a biography of how the band became to be?
-- The band started when Pete and Ken were in the 8th grade. They decided to make a band...so they started writing songs togeather...but they were never too serious till they found a drummer and then it got serious....they recorded there first demo in January of 97 and have been playing clubs in the Baltimore area since.

4 -- Tell us a little about each of the members.
-- Pete is 16 years old and attends Western High. Ken and Keith both attend Lansdowne and they are 16. Pete and Ken have been best friends since the 2nd grade when they met in Lansdowne elementary.

5 -- What kind of music do you guys play?
-- We play alterna/pop/punk

6 -- Who writes your songs?
-- Pete writes the outlines to most the songs and then the other bandmates add their parts to the song.

7 -- What covers do you guys play?
-- We cover many songs such as 'Long Day' by Matchbox20, 'Freshman' by The Verve Pipe, 'Good' by Better Than Ezra and many others.

8 -- Who are your influences?
-- The groups that influenced the band are Pearl Jam, SilverChair, Salt and a local band called the Martians'.

9 -- What are each of your favorite bands?
-- Pete-Pearl Jam, Keith-Silverchair, Ken-Salt

10 -- What do you think of MB20?
-- We all like Matchbox20

11 -- Where and how often do you guys perform?
-- We play about 2 shows a month. We have played places in Baltimore such as the "ZU", "HAROLDS" and "Ashley Station"

12 -- Do you guys have a CD? If so, how can we get a copy?
