No matter how bizarre...~ I had a dream once (like right after i joined and started to get the digest) that everyone that wrote the digest and read came to my house and everyone was so nice but i didn't know why they came! they all of a sudden came up to me and told me that since your the newcomer you get to meet the gang and i thought that they meant the digest crew but in comes MATCHBOX20! I totally passed out and when i woke up rob had just layed my down on my bed! I totally freaked out! then he leaned over and told me i was the most beautiful girl he has ever seen then went to kiss me and the next thing I know i hear my mom yelling "Amanda get up. It's time for school" I just wanted to say that I LOVE ROB with all my heart if i ever got the chance to meet him it would just make my day! I wish i could at least get to meet him! "ELVIS LIVES" is written in marker on the phonebooths, I would like to thank Rob for that little artistic contribution to the project, and for alerting those of you who didn't aready know that. There are some other messages written, but I couldn't read 'em, if y'all can, lemme know..... Something about life on other planets perhaps? 2. Paul's sweater. I wasn't sure about this one till I read 'Postcards. from the road, in which he states that #2. He likes mohair sweaters. The particular one that he is wearing in the video is a mohair Versace, by Versaci. I was involved in an abusive relationship with this guy for 2 yrs. Not necessarily physically, more of an emotional thing. I was 2 years younger than him, and a Freshman in H.S. whereas he was a Junior. He was my first real boyfriend, so naturally I thought he was a God and these were the things that happened in normal, healthy relationships. When I finally realized that this wasn't a normal part of a relationship, I was very ashamed and very alone. I didn't feel I could talk to my friends about this, even though I know that they knew what was happening. I was going through a rough period in my life, with the loss of a significant family member, when he told me he had been cheating on me with my life long best friend. As far as we know there was no snubbing or rivalry between the two bands. 2) Who is the girl in the booklet of Yourself or Someone Like You (friend, girlfriend, stranger, sister, the band's favorite stripper, etc.) ? A. It has been heard that the girl was Rob's ex- girlfriend Heather, but it has also been heard that the girl auditioned. And the deal is he gets his funky hat everytime he has coffee in the morning, he puts on the funky hat and he just goes and sheds all the crop. Paul: Sorry Dad! Rob: No the truth is he used to be the Stunt Double for Christopher Atkins in the Blue Lagoon. Tom: Laughs... Rob: No Actually, we've never met the guy, actually me and the drummer, Paul. We had an idea where we wanted to have a misshapen superhero kinda figure that comes from our song Real World. Where its all about just wanting to take different roles in life, and one of those roles is a superhero. Well, we thought about the idea, not your typical superhero, a superhero that wasn't quite fitting in the whole superhero realm and this was our idea, the guy, and so we explained it to who we wanted and this is what we got Paul: Thats what we picked out, but the picture kinda turned Rob: Yeah, we didn't like all of the pictures, alot of the ones that came out, it wasn't what we wanted at all, it wasn't the whole, the frame work that we set up, but this picture out of nowhere, of this guy, was, I mean we saw it, and thats what we had on the cover. Paul: He suddenly became our version of the everyday guy, instead of a superhero. Something someone might be wondering about: Someone asked me this " What is the extra verse that Rob sings live in Long Day?" I lost this e-mail but I remembered the question, and I got the answer, so here it is....
