::chapter 4-first few moments::

“What are you doing here?” the blonde heartthrobs asked simultaneously, neither knowing exactly where ‘here’ actually was. It seemed they were standing on a makeshift stage of some sort, and in front of them 200 or so g girls sat frozen in time, silenced mid-scream. The two teenage boys stared blankly at one another.

“Carter, what is going on?” Justin asked after a few seconds.

“I’ll be damned if I know,” Nick replied.

All of a sudden, the room took on an eerie red glow. Terror registered on their faces, accompanying the confusion that was already fixed there. They continued to stare at the other intently, as the light grew brighter and brighter. Soon it blinded them and they could no longer see into each other’s baby blues. The light flashed briefly and then, as soon as it had come, it disappeared. Neither Nick nor Justin could see though, and they stood there rubbing their eyes furiously, trying to regain some vision.

Justin’s sight came back to him first. He could see the girls in the audience, still locked into the same positions as before. ‘This is sure a strange dream,’ he thought. Justin turned his head to face Nick, slightly aware of the hair that moved against his cheek. His eyes locked to his target, but what he saw was not what he expected. It was as if he was looking into a mirror. Justin saw himself was standing on the other side of the stage, looking back with the shocked expression he knew he must have been wearing.

Nick mimicked that expression, as he was seeing himself as well. He didn’t know why, but something felt strange. ‘It’s just a dream Carter,’ he told himself. But it felt so real that he got goosebumps running up and down his arms. Nick opened his mouth to speak, but as he did, the teenyboppers came to life spontaneously. Their screams were deafening, considering the silence that had occupied the room moments before. The girls seemed to realize that their idols were unguarded, and began to rush the stage. “RUN!” Nick screamed to his mirror image that had been Justin Timberlake earlier on.

Nick took off at top speed, the girls just inches behind him. ‘I don’t think I like this dream very much,’ he thought.

Nick almost flew out of the bed he woke up with such a start. The dream had scared the living daylights out of him, and he wasn’t sure at all what it was supposed to mean. He glanced around the room. It looked the same; clothes were thrown about and spilling from a suitcase on the floor. But, it felt…different. He couldn’t describe it any other way. Nick pulled his arm out from under the sheets and wiped the beads of sweat that formed on his brow with the back of his hand. As he replaced his hand under the covers, he noticed something different again. When his hand touched his thigh, he didn’t feel the silky material of his boxers, but instead the sensation of skin against skin. He touched his stomach, and instead of the very few ounces of fat that were usually there, he was met with a six pack; pure muscle. Nick jumped out of bed and walked to the mirror, not caring that he was completely naked, just wanting to find out the truth. He bowed his head and said a silent prayer, then looked into the mirror—and straight into Justin Timberlake’s eyes. He blinked twice and then pinched his arm. He was met with very slight pain, and dismissed it—he had to be dreaming. Nick walked back toward the bed, and stopped at his suitcase to find something to sleep in. He pulled out the first thing he found, a pair of North Carolina basketball shorts, and pulled them on. He crawled back into the bed, and thought about how he would see his best friend in a mere couple of hours. ‘Think of Alicia,’ his brain told him, and so he tried to keep thoughts of her in his mind as he drifted off into a restless, dreamless sleep.

Leigh strode down the hallway to Justin’s room. She was so excited to be seeing him again; she almost couldn’t contain herself from running to his door. It had taken her a full half-hour to get through the mob of girls outside the hotel and another 20 minutes to get a key to her boyfriend’s room. She did get it though, and now she was going to spend some quality time with Justin, help him feel better about himself after last night. She quietly opened the door and walked inside, shutting it tightly behind her and locking it. She looked over to the bed and her heart melted at his sleeping form. He looked so innocent and she remembered exactly why she put up with all of the traveling and missing him; Justin was the best thing that had ever happened to her. He was her best friend, her first crush, her first kiss, her first love, and her first lover. Everything about the two of them together was familiar. Leigh smiled widely and set down her bag. She walked to the bed and got under the covers with him. She snuggled up next to his warm body and then began kissing his neck right below his ear, which she knew he loved. He moaned and squirmed under her touch but his eyes remained closed. Leigh pulled her dress over her head, and then began to lick and kiss down Justin’s body, until she came to the waistband of his shorts. She found that a little odd, because Leigh knew that Justin had always slept nude, but it didn’t really matter at the moment. All that mattered was that she was with her man again. She pulled his shorts off and started to stroke him in her hands, when suddenly she felt him tense up and his gaze penetrated her.

Nick felt the warmth of another body as it slid into his bed. He was too tired to question the presence of whoever it was; his rest had been anything but peaceful. Just as he began to adjust to having this person lay beside him, they began to kiss him on the sensitive skin of his neck, just under his ear. Nick groaned slightly, the flesh of this person sending tingles through his entire being. His breathing became labored as the girl—he assumed it to be a girl, as he still hadn’t opened his eyes—began to work her hands down his torso, kissing all along the way. Her tongue licked at his nipples and moments later plunged into his belly button. Nick was squirming under her touch, but it felt so good that he didn’t want it to stop, ever. He was met with cold air as his shorts were removed, but this girl warmed him again with her touch grasping him in her small hands. ‘She certainly knows what she’s doing!’ his body screamed as it involuntarily responded, Nick’s hips thrusting upward. A few seconds later his brain finally caught up with his body. ‘You don’t even know who SHE is!’ Nick’s eyes shot open and glared down at his assailant. His gaze immediately softened as his eyes ran over her features. Her hair was long, thick and bronze colored, and her eyes were soft amber to match. Her body was perfect; not an inch of her revealed skin was with blemish. Nick sucked in his breath inadvertently; she was his dream girl. But, no matter how perfect she was, she had invaded his privacy. No matter how good her body felt against his, she had violated him.

“What the hell are you doing?” Nick asked, his tone as harsh as he could muster. He was still awestruck by her.

The girl grinned sexily at him. “Showing you how much I missed you.”

Her hand began to caress his erection once again, and he could not help but cry out. She seemed to know every button to push. She bent her head down and kissed him, but somewhere in that electrifying first kiss, Nick realized that this went against every moral that he had ever had instilled in him. Sure, he had slept with fans before, but he at least pretended he knew their names first. Nick pushed her away from him, startling her to the point where she almost fell off the bed.

“What is your problem?” she asked, a look of hurt clouding her eyes.

“My problem?” Nick spat out. “You come in here and start to go down on me, and I have a problem?”

The hurt was mixed with confusion on her beautiful features. “You never seemed to mind before Justin, geez, I’m sorry. I just wanted to make our first few moments together special. I didn’t mean any harm…” her voice trailed off and a sob escaped her lips.

If Nick hadn’t been so startled, he surely would have comforted her, taken her in his arms. But there were more pressing matters at hand. “What did you call me?” he asked

“Nothing, I didn’t call you anything. Look Justin-” he cut her off.

“You did it again! Why do you keep calling me…” Nick’s voice froze in his throat when he saw his reflection in the large mirror on the mahogany dresser. Or rather, Justin’s reflection. Nick didn’t know what to do, scream, cry, or laugh. He just sat there, frozen.

“Justin? Honey, you are scaring me! What’s wrong?” Leigh waved her hand in front of Justin’s face a few times, but his crystal eyes didn’t even register it. His eyes were blank, staring off into space. When they finally seemed responsive, shock was evident.

Nick was certainly startled. It was too much for him to handle. “Who am I?” he whispered softly. She didn’t respond right away, so he used more force. “Please, tell me who I am!”

The girl gripped his hand in hers. “Honey, you are Justin Randall Timberlake, the man I love, the same person you were yesterday.”

“Who are you?”

Leigh tried not to show her hurt at his question. They were both very confused. “I’m Leigh, your girlfriend. You’ve known me forever J, please tell me you remember.”

Nick was thoroughly bewildered, but he tired to put the situation in perspective. He was in Justin Timberlake’s body; this was his girlfriend. He wasn’t sure quite how he had gotten here, but he didn’t have time to ponder that right now. Leigh stood looking at him pointedly, waiting for a response, any response. “How could I forget something so beautiful?” he asked, and kissed her. He would figure everything out later. ‘As long as I’m in Justin’s body, I might as well enjoy the perks.’
