"I have to, she deserves it," I smiled.
"Bye MacKenzie!" she called, waving.
"Bye, I'll call you," I said and put Hayley in her seat.
"Ready?" Brian chuckled at me.
"What?" I asked smiling.
"You and that girl are quite a pair," he said smiling.
"I love you Hayley," I said smiling as I got into the car.
"Me!" she giggled. I smiled and looked at Brian.
"I love you Brian," I whispered.
"I love you too," he said smiling.
*At Home*
"So, uh, what do you think?" I asked as I crawled into bed next to Brian. Hayley finally fell asleep and I had put her down in her bed.
"About what?" he asked, looking up from the book he was reading.
"Hayley," I whispered, looking down at my lap.
"I love her," he said, confused.
"No, about adopting her," I said looking up at him.
"Would you want me to?" he asked.
"More than anything," I said looking into his eyes.

I started to feel like a cheesy romance novel, but I cant deny my feelings. No one should ever underestimate the belief of love at first sight. It may take longer to realize you love a person, but it didnt take long for Brian to steal my heart away. I just cant believe we're going to be getting married. It's so amazing. "If someone wouldve told you four or five months ago that I would be the man you were going to marry, would you have believed them?" he asked.
I blushed, "I probably just wouldve laughed and said, 'a man like that would never want anything to do with a girl like me'."
"What do you mean a man like me?" he asked raising an eyebrow.
"You were so high class and cute and I dont know, perfect," I replied, turning away.
"MacKenzie," he said turning my face to look at him, "dont ever belittle yourself, ok?"

"No, the moment I laid eyes on you, I told myself, 'that's the girl Im going to marry'," he said.

"I did, you can ask Nick," he said.
"I will!" I declared.
"Ok, here," he said handing me the phone.
I punched in Nick's phone number and patiently waited.
"Do you realize what time it is?" Nick asked, groggily.
I laughed, "Nick what is the first thing Brian said about me?"
"That he would marry you one day," Nick replied. My face dropped. I looked at a grinning Brian and smiled.
"I love you," I said leaning over and pressing my lips to his. He reached over and hung up the phone. We went into another round of lovemaking.
*The Next Day*
"Please Ash!" I begged.
"I dont get into that MacKenzie, you know that," she whined.

I was begging Ashley to go dress shopping with me. I already decided that Ashley would be my maid of honor. Tammy, BJ(Nick's sister), and Angel(Nick's other sister) would all be bridemaids.

"Fine," Ashley gave up.

"What time are you girls going?" Brian asked wrapping his arms around my waist.
"In about an hour," I told him.
"Mmm, Hayley's sleeping and no one is here," he said winking.
"Come on Brian, help me get ready," I giggled taking his hand and leading him upstairs.
"That's it!" I said admiring a baby blue gown in the window. I fell in love with it immediatly.
"Um, that dress is rather expensive, maybe you should look over here," the saleslady said looking over to a different section.
"I want that dress in Ashley's size," I told the woman, ignoring her comment.
Ashley groaned and pouted.
"You sound like a three year old," I snapped at her, she was getting annoying.
"When's Billy's funeral?" Tammy asked as we were waiting for Ashley to come out of the dressing room.
"The day after tomorrow. Im debating on whether to go or not," I told her.
"Why wouldnt you?" she asked confused.
"I dont know if his wife would want me there," I answered.
"Im sure she wouldnt mind," she told me.
"I dont know," I shrugged.
Just then Ashley emerged from the dressing room. The beautiful baby blue gown hugged her body, accenting every curve.
"That's it," I whispered.
"Well, it is rather expensive," the saleslady told me.
"Can I get the same dress, but in a lavender color?" I asked.
"You would have to special order it and it'll be really expensive," she told me.
"Look, if money was a problem, dont you think I would be looking at the prices of these gowns?" I asked bitterly.
"Uh, well, uh..."
"Yeah, how about we get those special orders. Angel, BJ, let's get you guys sized," I said looking at the two girls.
