"Can you pass the ketchup?" I asked softly as we all sat down to eat our burgers.
AJ didnt even hand it to me. He picked it up and slammed it down by my plate. Everyone stared at him shocked. He bit into his burger like it was nothing.
I glared at him and picked up the ketchup and put some on my burger. I began to eat in silence. Everyone else felt uncomfortable for this no reason fight AJ and I were in.
Finally the guys started talking amungst themselves, getting louder and louder.
I leaned over to AJ and whispered, "Why are you acting like this?"
"Im trying to eat," he told me.
"Cant you answer me?"
"No."
"Look, AJ I dont know what I did wrong, but Im sorry."
"Look, Marissa, you know Ive been thinking. This relationship is pointless."
I stared at him shocked. I cant believe he just said that. Once again, I felt the tears stinging my eyes.
"What do you mean?"
"Im sure you know what I mean."
"We just got engaged. You're going to end this?"
"Marissa. I just dont love you like I thought I did."
"You dont love me?" I sobbed. All the guys had stopped talking and were looking at us.
"I gotta go," he said and got up and walked away.
Please tell me this isnt happening.
