Micki looked around the club, searching for no one in particualar. She decided to go the bar and sit there for awhile and see if anyone would come and ask her to dance. Micki sat down and looked at the bartender. He smiled. She smiled back.
"What can I get you?" he asked.
"Just water please," Micki said smiling.
The man handed her a water and Micki took a swallow.
A.J. and Nick walked up the bar and sat down. Next to A.J. was a girl, a very attractive girl. He looked at her. She looked a little down about something. She looked at A.J. and smiled. A.J. was hoping that she didn't recognize him and Nick. No one sat on the other side of Nick, but Nick seemed to spot a girl sitting a few seats away from him. Nick noticed her and smiled.
"I'm going to ask her to dance," Nick announced to A.J. But A.J. had his attention on the girl next to him.
Cool man, catcha later," A.J. said.
Nick walked up to the girl and said a few words to the girl. She smiled and followed Nick onto the dance floor.
"Hi, I'm A.J.," A.J. announced to the girl, flashing her an incredible smile.
"Micki," she said smiling. Micki took a second to look A.J. over. He's really cute, she thought to herself as she checked him out. A.J. was wearing a read Timberland shirt and very baggy blue jeans. She smiled pleased with his appearance. She took a strong look at his face. He had a goatee, that made him look all the better. His brown eyes were big and beautiful. A silver hoop in each ear made him look even sexier. Micki found herself VERY attracted to him.
"Well, Micki, would you like to dance?" A.J. asked.
I'd love to," Micki said smiling.
A.J. grabbed Micki's hand and led her to the dance floor. The music was deafening, but no one seemed to mind, it just made the crowd even more energetic. A.J. was a really good dancer, Micki concluded. A.J. and Micki danced the whole night together. Around 1:30 Micki and A.J. made their way back over to the bar. Micki looked down at her watch and relized how late it was. Matt would be really mad if he found out she was out so late.
"Well I better get going," Micki told A.J.
"Are you sure?" A.J. asked, almost sad that his newfound friend had to leave.
"Yeah, I think so. But I had a really great time dancing with you," Micki grinned, flirting just a little bit.
I'll walk you out," A.J. offered.
"Thanks," Micki said, agreeing to his offer.
Micki and A.J. walked outside the club, where the noise was suddenly gone and it was completely silent.
"Maybe I'll see you sometime," A.J. said, looking down at the ground.
"Yeah, that'd be cool," Micki said.
"Can I uh... uh... maybe... get your... number," A.J. choked out.
"Sure," Micki grinned, but then Matt appeared into her head. But he hurt her tonight, besides A.J. and her could become friends, he can't stop her from that.
Micki gave A.J. her number and got into her Honda and started it up. She rolled down the window.
"Bye A.J.,"she said, grinning.
A.J. waved as Micki drove away into the night, leaving A.J. there alone in the dark. For some strange reason A.J. couldn't wait to call Micki. He really liked her a lot and it seemed she didn't know who he was and what he did, which was another plus.
