*The Next Day*
“AJ, have you seen my shirt?” I asked irritated.
“Which one?” he asked.
“My blue halter top,” I said sitting down on the bed.
It was early in the morning, AJ and I were up late, and the buses were leaving in 10 minutes. When I woke up this morning, I had started my period and I wasnt happy.
“This one?” AJ said picking up the shirt that was sitting next to me.
“Yes,” I snatched the shirt away from him and walked into the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind me.
When I walked back out into the hotel room, AJ was sitting on the bed watching the weather channel.
“Come on, we’ve got to get our stuff downstairs,” I said grabbing the one bag I had brought up with us.
“Ok,” AJ said getting up from the bed and walked out of the room with me, taking his bags with him.
“Good Morning Howie,” I smiled as AJ and I got into an elevator, Howie right in front of us.
“Good morning Micki,” he said.
“Why have you been so bitter towards me this morning, but you can be so nice to Howie?” AJ asked looking down at me, he looked a little angry.
“AJ, dont start,” I said rolling my eyes.
“No, why have you been so bitchy this morning?” he asked.
“AJ, I just dont feel well, give me a break,” I said annoyed.
AJ was silent as we walked onto the bus. I sat at the table with Kevin and Brian.
AJ came and sat down next to me and kissed my forehead.
“Im sorry,” he whispered.
“Me too,” I whispered.
The bus started moving and we were on our way to the next city.
“Let’s go out clubbin’ tonight after the show,” Kevin suggested.
“That’s sounds cool,” AJ said.
“Ok,” I shrugged.
*That Night*
“I wanna dance,” AJ exclaimed as soon as we walked into the club.
“Im going to go get a drink,” I said, my stomach wasnt feeling too hot, I was having horrible cramps.
“I’ll go with you,” Howie said.
“Ok,” I agreed.
All the other guys went out onto the dance floor. Howie and I walked over to the bar and sat down next to each other.
“What can I get you?” the bartender asked walking over to us.
“I’ll have a Bloody Mary,” I answered.
“Scotch on the Rocks,” Howie answered.
The bartender got us our drinks and I took a sip of mine.
“What’s wrong Micki, you look sick today,” Howie said frowning at me.
“I dont feel well,” I whined.
Howie and I sat at the bar and talked for what seemed like hours. As we were talking about our childhood AJ walked up and smiled.
“Hey AJ,” Howie mumbled.
“AJ, come dance with me again,” some girl came up to us and started pulling on AJ. Ok, I dont mind that AJ was out there dancing, but damnit, keep those girls away from me.
“Ok,” AJ said smiling down at her.
It was obvious I was jealous and it was obvious he was flirting with her.
I glared at AJ and looked at Howie.
“I think I want to leave now,” I told Howie.
“Where you going?” AJ asked.
“Who’s that?” the girl asked looking at me.
“Micki,” AJ told her.
I wasnt his girlfriend, I was just Micki.
“Is she your girlfriend?” the girl asked.
I looked at AJ, “Kinda.”
