Chapter Nine

Micki:

Oh my goodness, Ive never been so nervous in my entire life. I looked in the mirror for about the 100th time tonight and felt like crying.

This nasty motel wasnt making me feel any prettier either. I sighed as I gave up, this was as good as I was going to get.

Ok, I was told dinner and a club, so it was kinda hard to decide what I was going to wear, but the show gave me money to go shopping and I did. I decided on wearing black bootleg dress pants, and a white silk tank top. My black heeless boots went good with the outfit.

I sat down on the hotel bed and looked around. I looked down next to me and saw the largest cockroach I have ever seen in my life. I shreiked incredibly loud. I jumped and was almost in tears. I have a phobia. I hate all bugs, they make me sick.

Just then I heard a knock at the door. I felt my face get real hot. I hope that isnt AJ, for my embarrassment was obvious.

I rushed over to the door, eager to get out of this nasty room. I swung open the door and saw AJ standing there smiling with a bouquet of red roses. My face softened and I smiled.

"Are you ok?" he asked.

I laughed and grabbed my purse off of the chair next to the door.

"Yeah, Im ok. But this motel is nasty, you'd think they'd put me somewhere else," I shrugged.

"Yeah, I know," he said looking around.

"C'mon, let's go," he said inviting me to link my arm with his.

Just then I realized there was a camera following him.

"Sorry," he rolled his eyes.

"Its ok," I smiled. I was now holding the roses in my other hand, while we walked to his car.

AJ:

Man, she is beautiful. I dont deserve someone so sweet and beautiful. All through dinner I was mesmerized by her mouth as she told me little things about herself. Things I would normally think is just something different about someone, I was finding incredibly sexy with her.

Now, that motel she was staying in was about nasty. Right before I knocked on the door, I heard her scream, which she later told me was because a roach was sitting next to her.

We were now on our way to the club. Personally, I was having a lot of fun. She has such a great personality.

"We're here," I announced as I parked my Mercedes.

"Great!" she exclaimed and got out of the car.

We walked up to the club and were let in after a slightly long wait in line.

"Let's dance!" she exclaimed. She took my hand and we went out onto the dance floor.

We danced close and didnt take our eyes off of each other once, I couldn't I was already addicted.

Lexi:

"We're home!" I announced pulling into the driveway. p>I wasnt talking to anyone, but myself and my car. I had dropped Megan and Leah off before I came home.

I wonder how Micki is doing? She should be on her date by now.

I went inside and took a long hot shower and then crawled into my bed and fell asleep. I dreamt of a guy. Tall and dark, but that's all I could identify, except I knew I didnt know this guy.

Brian:

I sat, bored, staring at a basketball game that was on tv. I sighed and looked around my house. It was actually kind of lonely without Sarah here. I wasnt listening to someone bitch at me, or telling me what needed to be done, and now I have nothing to do.

I thought about it for awhile and decided that I liked being bored a lot more than I liked being bitched at.

I looked at the clock. It was 11:30, I wonder what time AJ would be home from his date tonight. Well if all goes well, not for awhile, but if not, he's probably already home.

I picked up the phone and dialed Nick's number.

"Hello?" Nick asked groggily.

"Sorry, did I wake you?" I asked.

"No, I was wide awake," Nick answered sarcastically.

"Sorry man, I'll talk to you tomorrow," I said and hung up. I sighed and threw the cordless phone next to me.

Being alone is so boring...
