CH Highfields Summer Thunder UD, "Rascal"(Tri)
Am/Can CH Highfields Edge of Dawn UD, "Branch" (blue)

These two homebred dogs were from my first two litters in shelties and represent my beginning in the breed. They were both sired by Champion sons of CH Banchory High Born ROM and out of "High Born" granddaughters.
Thanks to Dee Strahan of Cypress Shelties for selling me the two bitches that produced them and giving me such a great start!! Dee was Branchs' co-breeder and owned/bred his sire - Am/Can CH Cypress Blue Buccaneer UD.

Thanks also to Bill and Irene Munsey, Donlyn Shelties for finishing Branchs' Am and Can Championships and for the final major on Rascal...(13 points, one major were owner-handled). Bill and Irene also owned Rascals' sire - Am/Can CH Kismets High Hammock Blue Jay CD.
Most of my current dogs go back to these two dogs. "Branch" was the first dog to carry the Highfields name. Both dogs were OFA Good.

"Branch" and "Rascal" are now waiting at the bridge. I miss them very much.
