The Easy Hoes were a cowpunk band formed by Art in 1987. After Shakin Brave broke up, that same night, Art attended a Cowpunk show and decided to form a cowpunk band. He formed The Easy Hoes a month later. Art was the band's leader and manager, and along with Jeff Krebs, wrote and sang about half of the band's songs, along with Jeff.
In 1987, Art started forming Shindig Records. In 1989 the band released their debut lp, "Tragic Songs Of Life". Afterwards the band went on their 89 "Tragic Tour". The tour was long and hard on the band and bassist Kim Rohrbach was double-timing both Art and Jeff, when Art found out that Kim was cheating on him with Jeff, Art disbanded the group.
Afterwords, Art formed Colorfinger, then eventually Everclear, Jeff Krebs went on to form the band Molehill, then later went on to do his own solo work.
