| | The Concept - In-depth
| There are some countries
from which one can fly for a very cheap fare. This is either due to a
miserable airline politic or due to some government restrictions. However,
it is not against the law to buy tickets in other countries. Of course, we do not mention the names of those
countries here on the web, as it is part of our business concept to find
those countries. What we can say at this time is that these countries are
between two and three hours flight from Europe.
|
| As
you can already guess, the "price for the cheap
fares" - in more economic terms "your
oportunity costs" - is some of your
time. We
will organize for you a ticket from country X to your destination via the
hub of your preferred airline. One example: If you want to fly from Brussels to Singapore with Lufthansa, we will issue you a ticket from
country X to Singapore via Frankfurt (which
is Lufthansa’s hub). In order to fly from your home town (e.g. from Paris)
to the starting point in country
X, we will issue you a ticket in economy
class free of charge.
|
| You may ask yourself now
why you should fly first from your hometown to country
X. It has a very easy
reason: If we issue a ticket from country X we can give you the market fare
(which is very low) from that specific country. The contract between you and
the airline strictly says that you must start your trip in country
X. In
case you decide not to use the first segment and board the plane in the
airlines hub (e.g. in Frankfurt) the airline will not let you board unless
you pay the difference between the price you paid (e.g. 3'000 EUR) and the
price from Frankfurt (e.g. 10'000 EUR). Hence, it is a must to start the
trip in country X. If one does not use the last segment, it is must more
difficult for the airline to "punish" its customer. All the
usually do is to cancel the last segment, which the customer doesn't want to
use anyway.
