Don't Panic! After my recent ramblings, and the responses that I got from them, I was driven to write this blerb explaining the differences between my writen self and the one people encounter on a day-to-day basis. Probably a good one to start out with! Writen 5/14/02

The Loiterers Berkeley has a large homeless population, some of whom I am getting to know rather well. This poem is primarily about those who I don't; my thoughts as the silent observer unleashed in poem form. Writen 9/14/00
emptiness This is one that I wrote after months of nothing. I had been living away from home, away from college, and felt as if my life was just passing me by, and that I was just alone in the world. This is isn't a formal poem, its just me, writing. Writen 2/29/00
73 Slats This is a narrative poem that I wrote about a rape victim. I hesitated putting this one up due to its subject matter, but reconsidered and desided to do it anyway. This is an emotional poem, and although it is not graphic, I don't recommend it for young eyes. Please read at your own discression. Writen 10/3/99
San Francisco Sunrise This was an exercise in word usage: we had to choose 20 words, half rhyme them, then try to use as many of the words as we could in a poem. I thought it came out fairly well. Criticism is, as always, appreciated! Writen 9/21/99.
settling silence The given subject was "place." I gave a scene, but it works. Again constructive criticism is, as always, appreciated. Writen 9/14/99
Round, Red, Soft, Sweet This here is a poem that I wrote for my creative writing class. I actually like it, so I thought I would share. If you read it, please feel free to pass along any constructive criticism you might have--positive or negative! Writen 9/7/99
