ok so we made it home from our week tour with no problems, everything went smooth. a big big big big big thank you to every one we met and everyone that came out to see us, this was the best trip we've taken so far and the most fun, thanks to shannon, john and the melody bar, rob, and the whole scranton crew(you guys and girls rock we miss you already!), billy at the backdoor!!!thanks to all the bands we played with, we'll see everyone real soon! so in other our album will be out in the next few months, the LP will be out on scene police from germany, and the cd will be out on an american label(things are in the works and we are excited about it and we will let you know when ecerything is worked out)well anyways im super sleepy.....talk to you next time!!! see you soon! matt

the show at the Engine Room was alot of fun. thanks to the Walt Lariat kids for playing too. the engine room appears to have alot of what it takes to be a great place to see bands. the only thing i'm worried about is the amount of support such a place needs. do you live in Athens or Atlanta? where the hell are you? you can't have a scene or good places to watch a show if you don't come out and watch. i'm not gonna get too preachy, but when you have a bunch of kids to soak up the sound you can turn it up just a bit more and party just a bit harder. if you're with me..... thanks. if not, you probably can't read to well. on another note, we are finished in the studio. the album will be out soon. no confirmed date as of yet but we will let you all know as soon as possible. be sure to check back here so you can be one of the first. i will try to get some MP3 samples of the new stuff on the page a.s.a.p. other than that we are all resting our heads from a job well done(personally i got on another plane and flew out to AZ. where there is no chance in hell that i'm going to hear the mixes.) h eheh ehhe e....... hope all is well out there where ever you all are....... and remember...... bands support kids by coming to there town and rockin it. kids support the bands so they can keep coming back. one without the other is just fucking lame. true......love,chris hunter.

alot has gone on in the past couple of weeks. i personally have been up the east coast and back again. i got the chance to catch the HWM/Small Brown Bike show in D.C. last weekend. that show reminded me how good this scene can be. lots of kids, lots of rock. Small Brown Bike took the show, I think. HWM is always amazing, it was the first time i had seen Saves the day, and aside from the technical difficulties they played well. and that's that. we start the recording on saturday and should finish up by the next weekend. everything is sounding pretty good and we're feeling confident about it. we are going to be playing a few shows around town soon. i will post those dates a.s.a.p. also, if you didn't know, we played live on WUOG last week with the Walt Lariet & Guff. i was suprised to hear how good it sounded this time. we had alot of fun as well. i will try to keep you posted on the album while we are in the studio. until then i hope all is well, and thanks again to everyone who has helped us along the way. you are not forgotten. love, chris hunter.

jan, 31st 2000 in Athens, ga @ Mean Mike's with gray before green, exit 86, and american mutts. exit 86 kicked it off, gray before green followed them nicely, then came the american mutts. you never know what to expect from the AM kids. always a good time. we played very late but pulled it off with a quick set. thanks again to all of the bands and devoted 706 union punkers, as well as the staff at mean mike's. and a huge thanks to EVERYONE who stayed to watch me throw up.

jan, 28th 2000 in Valdosta, ga @ Planet 10 with guff. HOLY MOLY! we returned to Planet 10 with our good friends Guff. we had a great time despite all of the ice on everything. i hear the best thing for a cold rainy, icy night is a punk show at planet 10. thanks again to guff (i'm just a loser little girl) and kevin!

hello all. we finally got the rest of our cd's from the almighty SCENE POLICE gang. if you don't have a copy yet you can order them through us or through Gavin @ stickfigure distro. check the merch page for more info. we go into the studio on the 26th of February to record the songs for the full length as well as the split 7" that's coming out of L.A. well im not sure why no one has said anything about our new split cds on scene police records(germany), we have them they are a split with a great band from england called rydell please go to our links page and go check out there website, a big thanks to scene police and rydell for making it happen. we are really lucky to be able to work with such wonderfull people! well i think almost all of us are sick right now, kinda suckin' hate it, um not much going on. getting ready to go record our full length that should be out early 2000 on scene police called "low standards for high fives". so look out for that and a march/april tour is in the works to support the album and we are trying to get to europe this summer hopefully all this will work out, thats it for now. please contact us for any reason we love hearing from you. merry christmas if you are into that thing, and happy holidays! love matt gatherer.

Valdosta ( sept 26th at Planet 10 ) was another time to remember. Somerset Leauge played a hell of a show! Thanks to Geoff for playing the Twisted Sister cover for us all. Thanks again to Kevin for letting us play! We had a hell of a time. Jason probably doesn't want everyone to know this but, he had a bit to drink at the show and then decided that we would all like to see it come up in the van. We didn't want to see it, we were pretty much forced into it. So, thanks to Jason for the sweet scent all the way home, we all love you! Keep checking this page out for new show info and the sort. We just had a great practice yesterday. We wrote yet another song for the new album. We're definitely on our way to being close to done. Matt and Brian got some new ink added to their legs. SICK! The shit looks amazing! Other than that I've been working on the EP so I can get that out to all of you. Design is complete for the most part, the cd's are being burned as I type. Should be really good. There might be something a little special added to it before it's released. So keep you're eye out for it. I'll keep you updated here in the news section. The first annual Athens enema (Sept. 18th): The show was pretty rad. One insane thumbs up to Donkey Punch for going completely fucking nuts! I had to leave early so I didn't get to check out everyone. Thanks to Tasty World for putting that one on! Other than that we are still pluging away at the new album. Well, Brian and Matt have lost there access to a computer in order to work on this. So, I will act as your new host to the NEWS! I have none. But, if I did I would definitely be the one to put it here for you. We have some shows in September you should try to come to. We have been writing for the full length ( due out sometime next February or maybe even sooner) so you will hear some NEW STUFF. I'm excited. It's some of the best stuff we've ever done. Check the shows page for more details. We are all getting fresh ink added to our body parts, which is very good. I also puchased the most disturbing statue of a fat man on a scale out in L.A. for the boys. I'll try and get a pic up soon. "What have you been up to individually?" you ask. so, we are back from a 3 day tour, thanks to tomorrow for the good two days we spent with them! if you dont know who they are you should, a really really good band that doesnt get enough respect. um thanks to billy at the back door as always! we love you! and thanks for everyone involved at the copper sun indie fest, and thanks for the tour of the place it blew us away. it a really long story and just to amazing to try to explain. but all in all it was a good trip. to long in the van, but worth it, thanks to brandon for coming along, and shannon for the place to stay. we love you both!!!!! well thats it im out! see you soon. matthew

ok, so heres whats been going on. we left for our last half of tour and only made it to two of the shows, we had alot of fun but we just didnt have to money to keep going. i would like to thank everyone that has help us in the past month, and the bands that we played with, a big thanks and hugs to penfold(if you havent heard penfold you are missing out check them out they are truly amazing!)and park(another wonderfull band, check them out as well!) we spent some time with both of these bands and we had a great time, even though our tour plans kinda got messed up it has been a great month of shows. so now we are home writing for our first album, and getting everything ready for our cdep and a few splits both of wich should be out by the end of summer! we also have some shows comming up and a few in the works, so please check out the shows page and come out and support the bands!! well thanks again to everyone that helped us out! and hopefully we will be back out on the road again soon. well take care and see you soon, love matthew

hey hey hey. brian here just letting you know what is going on in our world. well let's begin shall we? hey hey. well here's what's been happening....we had an awesome show at our house last night....small brown bike and dead season....they were two of the most amazing bands i have heard or seen. i was left with my jaw open when they were done...the the cops came...so when the left again...we played two songs...and split cuz i can't afford a citation. anyway...we are trying to figure out our tour plans...we might be just adding two weeks on to the first tour and not going back out until october......anyway, we'll keep you posted....thanks to the people who came out to the show...that means alot to me and the others...well take care... love brian.

good morning. i just woke up and it's 3:16 in the pm. i am kind of out of it. got all messed up last night, went to see unabnormal play downtown. it was cool, just too fucked up for our own goods. so we have figured out what songs we are using for the split recordings....we ar using: *trainhopping without you* and *in stained-glass waiting* for the upcoming rydell split. and we are using *night for a song* for the mock orange split. what other releases may be waiting around the bend ....we just don't know. i am tired. man oh man. ok i'm done for now. love brian

5 days till my 21st birthday....lets see whats been going on..we went out for a few days and played two shows, one in greenville north carolina and one in wilkes-barre penn. both shows went well we always love playing at the backdoor in greenville, great people! they always make us feel welcome thanks to billy for the show and marty for the place to stay and making us feel like family! and the wilkes barre show was great....we finally got to met our freind becca shes soooooooo wonderful to us....her and her family took us in and fed us, we got to her house and her mom patty had so so so much food waiting for us it was amazing, they made us feel so at home, all we did was sit around and talk and read books, they had so many books, all kinds of great books, we stayed there for two days, and we met some really nice people a big big thank you to becca(we love you more than you realize!) gino and christy and patty for all the food and the place to stay we will never forget you and we look forward to seeing all of you agian and thank you to you and i and penfold we look forward to play more shows with you guys in the near future well thats about it......oh thanks to talyor for coming with us and putting up with us for 3 days we all love you and you are welcome to come with us anytime......see you soon.................love matthew
