Scenarios - Maps - Civilization II Review |
Brief Comments:
|
Frozen two pages.
The first one is small collection of maps (12) and scenarios (19). The second page is Review of Civilization II. Author's overall Civ2 rating is 41/50. Do you agree? I think it's too small for the game that is in the top ten of games list. Fide, sed cui, vide. |

Good design (though I can't see the whole warrior
face at left frame (?)).
This site includes not Civ2 only but other strategy games too. "...we welcome anyone who wishes to add their site, submit Maps, Scenarios, whatever you have." Once I said about "standard" Civ2 site. This one is more than standard. Look at it. Nil nisi bene. |

Strategy - Hall of Fame - Links |
Brief Comments:
|
The former name of this site is "Franklin's CIVII
page". Once I made its review.
Today there are author's strategy - "How To Win At Deity", his saved games, three links to the most known Civ2 sites. And empty HoF. Does Franklin intend to surpass HoF of Apolyton and Stewart Spink? Good luck! Spero meliora. |

I like "professional" design of this site.
And there are some good things I found in this site the first time. Two guides - for beginners and for "warriors"; maps and scenarios; news from "Civilization" companies (old and new); links - come to this site! One idea for the future - virtual city - I think it will be like my "Museum of Civilization". It is difficult to understand how often site updates (I don't mean discussion board). Bonum factum. |

Future Civilization-like game |
Brief Comments:
|
Civilization is the great game. But there are
many things everyone want to see modifying in Civ2. A new game (coming
this Christmas as announced) - "Civilization: Call to Power©" - one of
several attempts to do it.
At this site you can look at new game summary, screenshots and so on. Forum, Chat, ICQ list... Excellent design and images (of site I mean; about game - see yourself). Nova vocabula rerum. |
