Item I give to my Daughter Rebecca Dupree one Negroe Boy named Daniel, to her and her heirs forever. Item I give to my beloved wife three Beds and furniture and one Riding Chair to her and her heirs forever, Also I lend her three Negroes, Will, Jack, and Venus and my land whereon I now live with the stock of all kinds, Household furniture and plantation tools. And at her Death the land and my Negroe Will to go to my son Peter Wyche to him and his heirs forever, and Jack and Venus to be appraised and that my Daughter Rebecca Dupree to take them and pay the appraisement and it to be equally divided among all my children, all the rest of my personal Estate to be divided half among all my children and the other half to such of her children as she shall think fit. It is my desire that my Estate shall not be appraised. I do appoint my wife and my son Peter Wyche Executors of this my last Will and Testament. At a Court held for Greensville County the 20th day of June 1781 this will was proved according to law by the oath of Joel Knight and Boaz Morris witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded and on the motion of Peter Wyche one of the Executors therein named who made oath thereto according to law and together with Daniel Fisher his security entered into and acknowledged their Bond in the penalty of one hundred thousand pounds conditioned as the law directs. Certificate was granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form. The Executrix therein named refused to join in the burthen of the execution thereof.

Teste P. Pelham C & Cur. He died before Jun 1781 in Greensville County, VA. George's will was proved in Greensville County, Virginia on June 20, 1781. It names son, Peter Wyche, daughter, Rebecca Dupree, and 'other children.' He was born in VA.

1750 - On February 19, 1750, Richard Griffith of Nottoway Parish in Southampton County sold 100 acres in Albemarle Parish in Surry County for 15 pounds to Benjamin Wyche. The property was bounded by Austin's Branch on the north side of the Nottoway River and William Parker (formally Richard Parker.) Witnesses were: John Edmunds, James Chappell Jr., and John Carter.

1751 - Benjamin listed in Surry County, July 16, 1751, as an appraiser of the estate of Richard Parker.

1752 - Listed as appraiser for the estate of Donald Mc Innish in Surry County on February 18, 1752.

1753 - Benjamin Wyche of Albemarle Parish, Surry County sold 100 acres on the north side of the Nottoway River and bounded by Austin's Branch, Richard Parker, Jr., and the Cypress Swamp on June 19, 1753 to William Parker for 16 pounds.

1756 - Benjamin was listed in the account of the estate of Benjamin Briggs in Surry County on August 17, 1756.

216. Nathaniel WYCHE died about 1777 in Sussex County, VA. Nathaniel's will, dated February 28, 1775, was proved in Sussex County, Va. on May 15, 1777. Named in his will were: children, Nathaniel, Anthony, and Nancy; wife, Mary and "children". He was born in Surry County, VA.

1763 - Nathaniel subscribed the oath of Gentlemen Justice of Surrey, November 17, 1763.

217. Frances WYCHE was born about 1739 in Surry County, VA. Date of birth estimated. Since she had a Guardian, she must have been a minor when she married. She died before 1830 in VA.

She was married to Frederick RAINES on 3 May 1756 in Sussex County, VA. Frances was the ward of William Johnson. Surety was provided by Thomas Young. The witnesses were Isham Browder, Peter Jones, and Nathaniel Raines. (Sussex County, Virginia Marriage Register page 2) Frederick RAINES was born on 9 Jun 1732 in Sussex County, VA. Frederick was the son of Richard Raines of Prince George County, Virginia. Frederick was in Prince George County, Virginia in 1756. Richard is mentioned as the father of Frederick Raines in the marriage record of Frederick and Frances Wyche, daughter of James Wyche deceased.

1761 - Indenture made on February 24, 1761 between William Parrker and his wife, Sarah, of Sussex County, Virginia and Frederick Raines of Prince George County, Virginia, for 95 pounds (Brunswick County Deed Book 6, page 530).
