He was wounded on the 3rd day of the Battle of Gettysburg and died the following day in Cashtown, Pennsylvania.

He was paroled at Appomattox.
He survived the war.

He served with Company A of Hampton's Legion, South Carolina.
He was a wagoneer, killed sometime during the war, his body was never recovered.

He lost both legs during the war but survived.

He was killed in the Battle of Jonesboro at the age of 19 years and was buried on the Battlefield.

He was released in 1864

He was born October 30, 1842 and died on May 26, 1911
He was wounded in the right shoulder and arm at Chancellorsville, VA on May 2, 1863
He was captured near Washington DC on July 12, 1864. Released at Elmira, NY on June 19, 1865

He was born in Caswell County, North Carolina in 1818 and died in Hagan, Virginia in 1915
He was a Prisoner of War and was wounded in combat
He was paroled at Cumberland Gap
He is buried in Hagan, Virginia
