Webpage
Help!
My secrets to building
my webpage. Take it
from them...

  • Bravenet
    • I use Bravenet's guestmap, mailing list, tell a friend and message board. They also have good guest books, counters, free for all links help and many other things. Make life easy on yourself and let others invent the wheels :).
  • Browser Safe Colors
    • When adding, changing ans just plain using colors to my site, I use this chart. I always come back to my trusty links page to get the link.
  • Flashbuttons
    • If all you can see is red on the left, then you need Flash on your computer. Otherwise, you know what I'm talking about with my flashbuttons. I joined up to add a really cool element to my own site. Drop in and see what I'm talking about!
  • Guestbook @ Christians Unite
    • This used to be my guest book, until some hackers apparently destroyed the site and they had to start over. I decided just to use the guestmap--why use 2? But it's still a great resource.
  • HTML Goodies
    • If you know some HTML, but you need help, this is the site for you! I used it often in the early days (2000) as I was building my site. Thank goodness it was still up because I needed info a few weeks ago. Check out for answers to your HTML questions.
  • MultiCity
    • If you want to pay for what Bravenet offers for free, go to this site. If you want to go ad-less, then compare their rates to Bravenet. My message board was with them (and it is a great site) until they let their free stuff go--and I lost everythong. However, making your site interactive for guests is what keeps them coming back.
  • Trafficswarm
    • Get hits for your website by looking at other sites. Fairly good advertising if you're just trying to get out there... see the link box below for other reasons:
  • Webmonkey HTML Cheatsheet
    • Again, this is for me--if I forget the simplest HTML I can go copy paste the code. I've used if for years and continue to come back to my links page to get it. Plus you can search for other web-building help.
