| Sophie is Guardian of the Cats. She was given this title and position by us as a young dog. She always greeted new arrivals, checked who was leaving the cattery and returning, waited patiently while show baths were done, kept them company while they dried, and supervised the building of each phase of the cattery. We often thought that she wasn't sure that she was a dog, she had many cat like attributes. She was the offspring of a Springer Spaniel mother and a Cocker Spaniel father which gave us the most devoted companion to both the humans and cats that live here. | |||||||||
