Bman and i traveled to the Rhea Center for Strategic Gaming for a little Family Mech action. B and I faced off against Mike and his two sons Brandon and Liam and we had a great time. Next time, we need lower BVs and less tonnage so that we can complete in the specified time allotment.

We had a great time at the Rhea Center for Strategic Gaming on the 21st. Wrathe, Haggis, Robin, Kakes and Danny Boy were all there facing yours truly.
I've also begun training my son B-Man in the art of warfare and Battletech...and he LOVES it. He won't stop bugging me to play. LOL I knew he'd like it.

Hey there people. Just wanted to let you all know that the Martial Olympiad is going to run from Aug 15th to October 15th. There are three scenarios and you will need to pick 12 units from a Faction-specific list! Go to Commando HQ to learn more. You can also go there to register as a player and find out when the Commando near you will be running games!

I am going to be running a demo game on Saturday, July 19 at TC Paintball in Gaylord. Game start time will be Noon and run til about 4. New players as well as veterans are welcome to join the fun!

I am going to be running Demo games for new players at TC Paintball on Saturday, June 7. I will be starting at Noon and running til 4 pm. Come play against the reigning Michigan Solaris Grand Champion! After the Demo games, You can join in the fun of the Michigan Mechgrinder!

Scenario #4 was great! Although there were only 4 of us playing, it was combat from the word go! I piloted a lance of Mechs from Redfield's Renegades along with Ryan Hocguard. The Lone Star Battalion consisted of Josh Muma of Bedlam Creations and George "Sleepy" Wilson. They did a great job of destroying my Heavy Lance but Ryan held his side of the Battlefield. A Great time was had by all!

FINALLY! I have become an OFFICIAL FANPRO COMMANDO!!!! This means that I will be running Bi-Weekly Battletech in Gaylord Michigan at TC Paintball! I am running my first official event on Saturday, May 24th at Noon. Lawyers, Guns, and Money Scenario #4! It should be a hoot!

This is not just a group for people in Northern Michigan, It is a group for the entire Classic Battletech community. It has file sharing, message boards and many other fun and exciting things, which are difficult to maintain on a website. We have very few members right now, (just started) but with more members, will be more things being shared.
Battletech is set in the 30th century. It is a game of armored combat where
Huge 30 foot tall robots called Battlemechs are piloted by Mechwarriors. Mechs,
as they are commonly known as, are armed to the teeth with autocannons, lasers,
short, medium, and long range missiles, and particle projection cannons or
PPCs. Some of them also carry hatchets and axes to attack other mechs in hand-to-hand
combat. The pilots known as Mechwarriors are the most highly trained people in the
galaxy. They are the stuff legends are made of and are the equivalent of the
Knights of old. They are revered as heroes and some societies are based around
them. The invaders from outside the Inner Sphere are known collectively as
the Clans. Their entire society is based upon the value of the Mechwarrior.
Battletech is the definitive strategic board game. Here at the Battletech
HQ we will strive to make sure all of your RPG needs are met. This will ensure
you have a great Battletech playing experience. We have Battletech downloads,
Battlemech designers, Battletech strategy and tactics, Battletech links, Battletech
news, and Battletech updates. We will be featuring the Art of War by Sun Tzu
as well as The Five Rings.
