| Staff slingers, easily one of the deadiest missile firing unit a player can bring to battle. I have to say I don't like using them because historically they rarely saw pitched battle, instead they were mainly use in seiges. Having said that, I admit yeah I've used them in games, but in small numbers (8-10). How else are you going to unsaddle those Companions and Crusader knights? |  |
There are 30 figures in the BYZ-09 bag, along with the 15 staff slingers there are 15 javelinmen. Of the two the staff slingers are without a doubt the better range. At least to me they are.
