Confidently, the Bzyantine Commander and army standard bearer (ASB) lead the army forward. The center peice for this army is the battle standard so I spent quite a bit of time creating something that stands out. I hand painted the Ikon and the border around it.

Essex miniature MB-1
portrays my Bzyantine General. While he is not in a very
dramatic pose, for some reason I still like him - perhaps
because of the no nonsense stern & determined look on
his face. He rides an OG horse. The Battle standard bearer is Old Glory. The miniature came in the mounted command bag and originally had a standard pole molded in his hand. Like most tall thin things that are molded this one was in bad shape - uneven and about to break. I simply cut the pole off, drilled a hole in his hand and stuck a brass rod in place. |
