World War One FRENCH ARMY |
These are the backbone of the French army, the swarms of horizon blue-clad warriors.
Piling out of the trenches for a walk across no-mans-land. |
A costly job to reach the wire, now to the enemy wire. |
This is a great range as long as the French infantry are concerned. Each bag contains ten figures. There is a lot of variety in the poses and they all are normal looking. The gasmask infantry bag contains a sergeant and an officer wearing gasmasks.
Another class of infantry is called trench fighters. These guys are specially armed with nasty weapons for hand-to-hand fights in the trenches.
Knifes, shovels and rifle butts are quite common instruments for these soldiers. If they make it to the enemy lines, the rules give them an advantage in hand-to-hand combat. |
