I stood watching the people of Midgar walk back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth. God, how boring! Basically, by the time you turn 8 here in Midgar, you've seen everything there is too see. People running around beating each other, stealing, and those fat hookers on 5th avenue that just won't stop shaking their butts.
Oh yeah, I had better introduce myself! My name is Aeris, and I sell flowers for a living. Yes, flowers! Well, it was that or be a prostitute at the age of five here in the slums. And since flowers are so rare here in Midgar, it's amazing how many times a guy who gets in a fight with his girlfriend comes running up to me.
Well, anyhow, on this particular day, I was about ready to call it quits, when this gigantic explosion shook the ground. Now, gunfire is a common noise in the slums, but explosions? That was a new one!
A couple people came running from the direction of the reactor, and one loser knocked me over. Yeah, thanks bud, appreciate it. Now, as I calmly gather my dignity and stand up, this guy's standing there.
Okay, you know when you're watching a movie, and the lead guy comes on screen, and you think "DAMN! He is hot!" Well, that happened to me. This guy was a total fox! I just stood there gaping at this fine fellow, and he kinda looked at me weird. Well, I was drooling uncontrollably, so you know . . .
I gathered up my senses, deciding I had to work my mojo on him, so I asked him, "What happened?" He kinda looked around and replied, "Nothing . . .hey listen . . " Of course, my little ears perked up. "Are those flowers?" he asked.
"Yes, would you like to buy one? They're only one gil . . ." I said. He randomly grabbed one out of the basket. (A white Acacia, which means 'secret love'. Hee hee . . .) Then he flipped me a gil and walked off.
Woo, back angle just as good as the front one! He had one of those nice butts that you salivate at and try not to giggle when you look at it. Well, my day had just perked up! I skipped home happily, and got weird looks from people, thus I stopped skipping and just walked home.
