Where: From the Jarl of Frosgard.

Required: This quest is required to advance in the game.

Summary: At the moment, no boats can get in to deliver food to the people of Frosgard. As a result they are starving, and the Jarl is not worried about an attack when his people will die of starvation before the attackers arrive. Therefore, he asks the party to break up the ice in the port as a condition of his joining the Alliance.

How to do: Walk around the town and speak to all the people. You will eventually run into Bodvar Elvissen, who will tell you (if you ask him) that he likes to make fireworks. He asks if you'd like to see a demonstration. Ask him if he would make a delivery for you and he'll agree - just tell him to deliver it onto the ice at the end of the dock.

When you've finished speaking with him, go out on the dock. At the end, down on the ice, you should see a barrel. Shoot at it. It will explode and you will get an animation sequence of the ice breaking up.

After the ice has broken up, go back to the Jarl for your reward.
