QUEST SOLUTION: | FIND NICOLAI A JOB
Optional: This quest is not required to advance in the game.
Summary: Nicolai tells you that he was defending his country from an attack of devils and suddenly found himself in Drangheim. Unfortunately, not only does he have no way to get back, he has no money either. He asks you to find him a job, something in the line of circus performing as he really enjoyed that when he ran away to the circus as a child (in M&M VI).
How to do: Yes, this version of M&M is supposed to take place on an entirely different world than the others, but they managed to sneak an Ironfist into it anyway.
Go to Guberland. As you walk up the pier from the boat, to your right you will see a natural archway in the rock - inside it are some colorful tents. This is "The Gathering" - a festival where mages show off their skill in creating games. Talk to the man in charge. He's standing to your left of the closest tent. Ask him if he's looking to hire someone. He will say "Yes, but you're not the type I had in mind, as I wanted someone kingly." Tell him you have just the person, then go back to Drangheim and tell Nicolai you have a job for him. You will have to return to Guberland to the man in charge of the Gathering again to receive your reward.
