December Newsletter:
RK asked for any items for inclusion in the December Newsletter be forwarded to him as soon as possible. RB to
forward order form for club clothing.
Kanon Bowling Machine:
To be discussed at next meeting.
Subscriptions for 2005:
It was agreed to propose at the AGM that subscription rate for 2005 should remain the same as for 2004.
Annual Subscription:
RK said that he would be proposing to the AGM that the annual subscription should in future be paid by 31 Mar in
future years. This is to ensure that anyone playing competitive cricket for the club is a club member and is covered
by the club's insurance policy in the event of any accident.
Adult Nets:
To be discussed at the AGM.
Colts Co-ordinator:
RK said that he had discussed the position of Colts Co-ordinator with Graham Mowat. Graham had confirmed that he
was happy to take up this position and RK would make the necessary proposal at the AGM.
Club Clothing:
RB said that he had ordered 12 tracksuit Tops and 12 Caps from Ktees. He had paid £349.79 for these, which
includes £38.78 start up costs and embroidery disc. The tracksuit Top has the Rowner logo on front breast
and Rowner CC lettering on the reverse. The price including vat is £20.12 per top and he proposes to sell
them for £22.00 each. The cap with the Rowner logo only is £5.29, which he intends to sell at £6.50
but to have a name or nickname embroidered on the reverse of the cap will cost £7.35, which he intends to
sell for £8.00. He has already sold 6 caps and 6 tops. We can now order as many shirts or pullovers as we
like having already made the minimum order and he will organise those next. He said that he hoped to have the tops
and caps on show for the AGM and would provide details to RK so that it can be included with the December Newsletter.
Outstanding Subscriptions:
RK informed the meeting of exactly who still had not paid their annual subscription. There were seven colts but
it was agreed that these should be written off as it was believed that they were late joiners and when they joined
was not known. PC said that she would keep a close eye on this matter in 2005. The adult non-payers were discussed
and it was agreed that a number of those should be written off, as they had not played for the club during the
2004 season. This left 4 adults as not having paid, they are: Liam Moggeridge, Vishen Patel, Keyur Patel and Jim
Bishop. RK said that he had written to all of these and had only had contact with one, Jim Bishop who querying
the amount he owed as he claimed to have paid off some of his subscription at nets. After discussion it was agreed
that he had paid £15 which left another £25 owing. RK said that he would write and let him know and
write to the other three in an attempt to get them to pay up.
Scorers Courses:
RK said that he had two volunteers to attend a scorers course, Maureen Stevens and Sue Wylde and he was trying
to get details from the Hampshire Cricket Board as to when and where courses were being held. RB sad that Lisa
Bowman is also interested in attending a course.
Date of Next Meeting:
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 11 Jan 05 at 2 Fraser Road.
There being no other business the meeting closed at 2040.
