The answers to all questions are provided by Jason, all humerous comments about the pictures are totally mine!

[ Jason Hoskins (background - sorry for the crap picture, watch this space) ]

Name: Jason Hoskins (the one picking his nose)

Nickname(s): Norm, Jazza, Jay

Left arm seamer/spinner and attacking left handed batsman. First XI Captain.

Age: 35

Years at Rowner Cricket Club: 21

Highest Score & Opposition:

League - 78 vs Porchester (1997)
Sunday - 92 vs The team Alan "One Eye" Dicken played for when they were short. You guessed it " Bowled A.Dicken 92"

Best Bowling & Opposition:

Too numerous to mention. One summer I almost changed my name by deed poll to Jason "Fivefer" Hoskins.

[ Hmmm, not on the evidence on this long hop Jase! ]

Best Rowner Cricket Club memory:

Seeing us score 325+ against Locks Heath while captain after losing the toss and being put into bat in sub tropical temperatures. Needless to say we won.

Worst Rowner Cricket Club memory:

Apart from relegation last season my first and hope last with Rowner in 20+ years. Rooming with Nellie on tour, and trying to keep him awake and myself alive on the drive back from Torquay. He was as he puts it "Resting his eyes".

Andy "Clyde" Lilley saying the immortal words "Im gonna try something with this ball" then seeing the ball sail back over 27 tennis courts at Havant in the cup.

[ Jason gives his boil some fresh air! ]

Funniest Rowner Cricket Club memory and/or story:

Could write a book every away fixture is a mixture of fun and danger depending on who drives and where you end up, though Nellie mistaking Bournemouth for Basingstoke would be one. Just one of a thousand missed junctions over the years.

Opening the batting in a league match League in 1994 with Mr Lilley against B.Waltham. The score after 6 overs, Rowner 53 for 0 (Hoskins 50*, Lilley 1*, extras 2)

[ Jason shows off his attractive rear end - boil available for viewing April to September ]

Best Rowner player played with: James "Barrington" Kemp

Biggest cricketing influence: Mohammad Ali

Hopes for the club in the future:

Promotion in 2005, County cricket by 2009 then a place in ICC Trophy by 2013, before finally getting Rowner Green's Test Match status before 2020. Oh and that we continue to enjoy our cricket.
