HOLY SHIT, I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN AGES!! OCTOBER 5, 2002
Damn that Yu*Gi*Oh...if Kaiba Seto wasn't such a hottie, I'd--oh, hello, loyal KMAS visitors (what little we have left, I'm sure)! I'm slowly yet surely starting to update again...I KNOW I owe Tekk a prize, I KNOW I have fics to update, I KNOW I have updates to update...dammit, leave me alone! I have a job, I have the DEAD VIOLET project to continue work on, and I have Yu-Gi-Oh! to obsess over. Not to mention I'm still working on combos for Kazuya in Tekken 4...aiya...I need more time. And I also need to kill my neighbors. Damn assholes with their shitty rap music...I hope somebody stabs them in the eye. :)
I'M STILL HERE, KINDA...JUNE 22, 2002
Okay, so I seem to be falling into the same no-update cycle I fell into around this time last year. And seeing as how Tekken 4 isn't on the verge of being released in arcades again, there must be something else that is up, and there is:
-I've been looking for a second (possible third) job.
-I've been sick lately.
-Dead Violet Project.
I promise you, dear visitors, that I will plan one mega-update, along with the winner of the contest(still missing one entry!). So stay put...BTW, Kazuya tells me that there's been some craziness on my mesage board! You people behave! *shakes finger*
THE POWER'S IN THE ARMOUR!... JUNE 1, 2002
Well, as you already know, the contest is over...I'll be spending time judging them and whatnot...well, me and my small cadre of judges anyway.
Seeing as how I've still some time to talk, I want to talk to you all about this fantastic little DVD that's come out recently: Ronin Warriors. For those who don't know, Ronin Warriors first aired in Japan as Yoroiden Saumrai Troopers (Legendary Armour Samurai Troopers) back in about 1989. Oh yes, it is definitely an oldie, but most certianly a goodie.
Anyway, it aired on American television summer 1995 (I was 12 going on 13 then...now I'm 19 going on 20!). It only aired for the summer, but it garnered a large fan base--I mean, come on! Five hotties in armour! Can't go wrong there...I used to have some of the episodes on tape, but lost them. ;_; But now they have put it on DVD, yay!! ^_^ You can see Ronin Warriors on one side of the disk, or Samurai Troopers on the other. I am currently watching the latter. I'm actually amazed at how well the translation job was for the English version...Ronin Warriors is definitely one of the best Anime to be translated on American TV. It certainly owns Dragonball Z on any given day of the week.
Anyway, just wanted to tell you all
KOKO DE SHINE!...MAY 27, 2002
Okay, perhaps this update is considered to be minor, but I felt it important enough to do something.
I got an e-mail from Optic Splice, and he has revealed some of the win phrases Kazuya is heard saying in Tekken 4. And yes, the whole "Tanoshii ni naran'na" matter is cleared up; you'll have to check the Tekken 4 section to find out. ^_^ Again, thank you Optic Splice for the information, and I look foreard to any more, as and/or if you happen to get any.
Oh, and the updates section can now be accessed directly from the main page. Aren't I just nice (if you value your teddy bear, you will say "yes"!)? ^_^
BAH!...MAY 24, 2002
For today's update, I've decided to go off on a rrant:
Okay, so I am bloody aware that vid games are a guy thing. But it would be nice if these companies would recognise the fact that there are actually grrls who play it as well. Well, some companies do a better job of it than others, I think. Really, DOA is a main offender. They seem to have no regard for use girl gamers, otherwise they'd have put some guys in speedos in their stupid little volleyball game. Yeah, that's right, a volleyball game. Boy, there's substance in that, and it's alllll silicone, no less. I will never be a DOA fan, or player, and this is because of that non-regard for gamers like me. Mind you, I am not saying that Tekken is all that innocent--but at least Jin gets to go topless in his ending (and Kazuya's and Hei's), and Kazuya's all in chains. Not to mention the gratuitous ass shots in the arcade intro. But i'm still thinking "What the fuck is wrong with you?" as far as the women's costumes go.
Oh, and there is an actual update. I have informed you all about the contest--it ends after this week. Also, I have removed Inner Storm from the site, as I have found a more suitable home for it. Stay tuned...
IT'S SPOILERIFFIC...REPAIRED! MAY 21, 2002
Yeah, in case anybody didn't know, the screens did not work, so I renamed them and re-uploaded them. I still need to resize and crunch them down in good ol' Photoshop.
I also have some new goodies I'm gonna get together...and a new section may be in the works. I havne't worked on Life in Tekken like I should...I'll get that up eventually.
IT'S SPOILERIFFIC!...MAY 18, 2002
Wow, I'm on a roll. Not only did I make an update to the site yesterday, but I also updated today. Whoa.
I don't really have too much new stuff--unless, of course you consider screencaps from Kazuya's Tekken 4 ending to be something of a big deal! Mind you, they aren't much...and I need to resize them, etc. But they are now here, and you are more than welcome to see them. I also updated the T4 ending summary, though I doubt you'll be able to tell the difference. Also, there may be some discrepancy regarding the win taunt "Tanoshii ni naran'na"...be sure you check that list out. Remember, you can find that in the Tekken 4 section!
In other news, I hace turned off the link to the Jun Shrine, but I will not remove it. It may be dead, but I will keep it preserved on the site for what it represented.
And looking at the poll, people want Kazuya to stay with Jun. No offense, peoples, but in my opinion they are the most boring couple. The only reasons they would stay together is for Jin, I am sure. Otherwise...*does the "shoo! shoo!" motion with her hand* Then again, I support Kazuya/Nina pairings, so I have my own problems! Oh, and I think Michelle would have been a good choice too, heh heh.... PEACE!!
UPDATE THIS SITE, I WILL...MAY 17, 2002
Argh, it has been a while since I made any remote appearances on the site and whatnot. I have a lot of things I still need to do (like add 3 more fan fics--which I will address in a moment), but it will get even harder to do so, as I am possibly going to snag another job--a job which may take more of my time than this one I currently have is. Anyway, let me tell ya what's new:
FANFICS: I have added 2 fics by Hari Kari Demon; Tekken Goes to Disney World and a serious one called "Storm Clouds Still Gather?". I have a few more to add, but I need to remind you people:
SUBMISSION STATUS ON FAN FICS IS OFF. IT HAS BEEN OFF SINCE KMAS RELAUNCHED OVER A MONTH AGO.
If you send me any fics while the submission is OFF, I WILL DELETE THEM RIGHT THERE AND THEN. I am not shitting around here. The Submission Status is there for a reason. So don't go asking me why I didn't post your fic yet; that's what you get for not playing by the rules(However, I know of some people, like Gray Fox 15 and posters at the Tekken Zaibatsu Fan fic forum, who sent me fics before I relaunched. I shall take care of you!).
Okay, getting that off of my chest...I have added two new links: The Ninja Thief and the Blood Talon v3.0, a fantastic Kuni/Hwoarang pairing site by a good friend of mine, and Penny Arcade, a funny as all hell site with some of the most brilliant game-based webcomics I can relate to. Be sure you check those out.
And last but not least, I have added another picture in the Toys section. I just got me Kazuya and Nina Tekken coin banks and...well, just take a look at what I did. :)
BTW, Star Wars: Attack of the Clones kicks uber ass. Go see it.
SAIYAN RAGE IS A SLAVE TO THE WAGE...APRIL 27, 2002
Bah! As if I didn't have enough problems, eh? I'm already neglecting this poor site, can you believe it? But, there is reasonable explanation...I'm just older now. What I mean is, back when I started KMAS, I was still in high school and had only one site...so I had plenty of time for that one site. Nowadays, I'm working AND running two sites...and I'm concentrating a lot more on the other site (DEAD Violet for those who don't know), and not giving this site its equal share.
Anyway, I will be working for the duration of this weekend...lucky me, huh? But at least I'm making some money, though I really should look for a new job, one that will pay more, and give me more hours (but will consequentially [sp?] cause me to spend even less time on this site! GRR!). Really, I need to come up with a new update system...so that it can be easier on myself and give you all what you want.
As far as updates go, I've added some names to the fan club list (FINALLY, in most cases). I've got some fan art and fan fics, but I need more of the former before I update that. (Hoping amazak will come thru for me!!) I have some poll results I should post soon, and I want to make some new graphics, but I need the time for that, and Kazuya isn't looking well when I'm drawing him at the moment. Gooooo figure.
Anyway, by now you know some detials as to what "Life in Tekken" is all about...I have helluva work to do with this site, namely an update system (coming up with it is easy...it's the bit about how much I have to put onto it that'll be a pain!!).
On a lighter note, I got more contest entries, yay! Keep sending them in, people!
APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS...KISS MY ASS! APRIL 13, 2001
Okay, I'm not really askign that you peeps kiss my ass...it's just that it's been cloudy and raining in my neck of the woods for almost a week, and it's driving me nuts. Saiyan needs her sunshine. Anyway, this isn't really an update....I just wanna let you all know what's up:
-Kazuya ending: Ahhh, kazamaCEO strikes again, hooking me up with a 15MB file that is Kazuya's ending. And man, is it bad-ass. I will try and get a script up soon enough--hopefully a Japanese and and English script.
-Fan club: I still gotta take care of these! However, it will still take some time as I will be busy today, and I will be working all day tomorrow, and will not be home until late. Figures, eh?
-Contest: I hope you all are working on your entries, otherwise the winner has already been announced, because I've only got ONE ENTRY. I know you people have a sense of humour about you, so get on to it!
-Updating: I will be updating this site later in the upcoming week. Work is what's mainly preventing the weekend update, and Kazuya's ending. "Kazuya, kisama--something in Japanese that I do not know...."
SAIYAN RAGE? A SOCIAL LIFE?! HAHAHA! APRIL 6, 2002
Alrighty, so what do I have for you lot? Well, I have the fan art section back up, with new works by Kazu-Yoshi girl and myself; also check out some new talents Kazzy (Amazak on the message board) and a friend of TZer opium27.
Fan Fictions updated! These are the fics that I had in waiting, hence why I am currently not taking submissions. Anyway, we have three new fics: Canto, by Lea, Cold Blood, by kung fu kid, and Indigo Soul by Tekkenicus! Be sure you scope those out.
INNER STORM UPDATED! I've added the second chapter to the first-person story...hopefully I will put up an illustration or two later. ^^
BTW, I was going to add more members to the fan club, but it was all reset and I couldn't be arsed to redo it all. I'll try again later...oh, and I will be adding more links to other neato dorito webpages real soon.
Alrighty, I have a busy day ahead of me, but expect some updates in the fanfiction section really soon.
FINAL-FREAKING-LY! March 29, 2002
At last, the horrible waiting is OVER, people! I still have severe updating to do (*cough* fan art re-opening, namely. I have fics to add, hence why I am not accepting any at this time as well. I also have more graphics in the works, and of course there is still the contest!)
I hope you all enjoy KMAS Ver.D (not 4.0, D!). With new graphics--all of which are drawn by me, a Tekken Forever section, more Tekken 4 Kazuya images and info, movelists, a section for wacky Tekken toys doing wacky stuff, and some other goods; I am sure the motto will still stand. And besides, you HAVE to stick around anyway. I've still got updates to do, ya? ^_^ Oh, and I will explain why there are TWO Kazuyas in due time, but some of you may already know why that is...^_-
Updates of 2001!
