The old guard

DBA gave my old plastic warriors a new lease of life. I put together Celts/ancient Brits,  early Imperial Roman, Ghaznavid, Turks, fanatic Arab etc. etc. What follows is a picture gallery of just some of those troops.

  THE CELTS

The Celtish Warriors began life as the Airfix Ancient Britons.  Many other figures found their way into the army and at some time, Boadacea became the leader of the war band and they returned to their ancient British roots.. These figures are also of interest to me as they were the last troops painted with enamels before I "discovered" acrylics and oils
