A standard cruiser from Antibes III
I began the model with no fixed ideas except that it should be made principally from rectangular form tube and have side mounted engines as per the previous designs. In order to maintain the imperial style i decided to use the GW main weapons mounts ie lance bays and weapon bays. (In the end I used weapons bays). I made up a central hull and added the engines on the side . I carved a prow and hung it on the front and the model looked cool. I put weapons batteries on and decided it would be a Tyrant and then I settled to add decking detail and an Antibes style chaos type bridge. Finally the model was ready. I scrubbed it in washing up liquid to remove the moulding agents from the plastic then mounted it to take the first photographs.
I was REALLY happy with the end result. I sprayed the whole thing black and the model looked great. Dry brush grey pick out the detail and matt varnish.. Voila one Antibes III Tyrant variant ready to rock..
