Untitled RPG
Many popular single-player RPGs nowadays are all so strict on where you can go and where you can't, what you can do and what is impossible.
Many MMORPGs are just the opposite: you are free to do whatever you want (mainly improving your character), but there isn't much to do once you've finally reached that goal of level 50.
With this RPG, I hope the combine elements of both, and present a single-player RPG where players can pursue the quests they wish to pursue, and don't have to pursue the tedious duties they don't. Players will control one character to represent them, and this character will have an arsenal of skills to create items, destroy vicious beasts, and explore the land.
The battle system I have in mind will be arcade-styled (easiest compared to Space Invaders, but with an RPG twist).
I also might write a pet dragon system where you can raise a dragon and he or she will aid you in battle-- perhaps by blocking enemy attacks, or maybe projecting an attack or two of its own.
