Downloading Courses

Instructions on downloading 2k3 courses 

In Tiger Woods 2003, there are additional files to download other than the actual course. These files are called "libraries" and the courses won't play without them.  So, downloading 2k3 courses takes a few extra steps. The best place to get courses is at NCD. NCD has different downloading instructions... try both, see what works best for you.

1. Create 4 folders, somewhere where you can find them on your hard drive.
"2k3 Courses", "2k3 Library", "Course DL", "Library DL". You can create a folder named "2k3 Downloads" and make the 4 other folders subfolders so they are all in the same place if you want to.

2. At the NCD site, find a course you want to download, for example... Deer Hollow, download the course file to the folder you named Course DL and then unzip the file to the folder you named 2k3 Courses

3. For the library files associated with the course, download the library files to the  Library DL folder and then unzip them to the folder you called 2k3 Library. (Some libraries might be located in the 2k2002 library section. Also, many courses share the same libraries. If you already have a library needed for a new course, there's no need to download that library again)

4. You then open the 2k3 Course Utilities, there should be an icon on your desktop. If its not there go to... Start...Programs...Ea Sports...Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003... 2003 Course Utilities.    

5. Click INSTALL

6. Find the folder on your hard drive named 2K3 Library; you should see the libraries there that you unzipped.

7. Select one of the libraries and click install, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CHANGE ANY OF THE SETTINGS TO WHERE THIS IS GETTING INSTALLED TO.

8. Select and install all library files before you install the course file.

9. Next find the folder you called 2k3 Courses, you should see a course file name in that folder. AGAIN YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CHANGE ANY OF THE SETTINGS TO WHERE THIS IS GETTING INSTALLED TO.

10. Once the library files and the course is installed, start or restart Tiger 2k3 and your course should be there and work on the net. REMEMBER THAT ALL THE LIBRARIES THAT ARE ASSOCIATED WITH THE COURSE HAVE TO BE INSTALLED FOR THE COURSE TO WORK.

11. After you have confirmed that your new course works, you can go back to the 4 folders that you made and delete the CONTENTS of the folder but not the folder.
