Visual Basic to Delphi tutorial(s)

I have decided to terminate my Visual Basic to Delphi tutorial. Delphi is fairly easy to get to grips with, but it would simply take to much time on my part to show you the true power of Object Pascal. You need to get a book to learn this properly.

But, there are quite a few good resources online (listed below). On the book front i suggest you get a hold of:

• The Delphi 4 Bible
• Delphi in a nutshell

These were the books that i bought when i first started out, and they will not only teach you Delphi, but be a resource on it's own as you slowly progress to a higher state of delphiness. You can safely buy the Delphi 4 book, because there havent been any real changes in the Pascal language since Delphi 4. The changes in Delphi 5 and 6 are basicly cosmetic and internal, or with features. For example, in Delphi 6 you can work with XML and web services directly. But the Pascal language is the same.

And no, i did not get any $500 sponsorship to say this...
