Concealed Carry Holsters

This was generally started as a basic expansion of the standard +2 to Conceal, 100¥, concealable holster. Mostly cause a bunch of the players in one of my old crews didn't go out with at least two guns, and the GM was kinda testy about it some days, so with his approval and a Kimber catalog, I threw this all together.

Shoulder Holster:
Cost: 100$
A simple strap system that crisscrosses between the shoulder blades with a holster suspended under one arm, either vertically or horizontally. Simple enough, and simple enough to use, with a covering button-up shirt or vest.Usually also has two magazines on the opposing side as well, or can mount a gun on each side for an extra 50$, but it can't carry any other mags.
[Provides a +2 bonus for any gun.]

Inside the Waistband (IWB):
Cost: 50$ (20$ for the magazine pouch)
A simple little holster that prevents the gun from falling down your pants or otherwise losing its place when you run or jump. Can be set for draw by either hand on any place around your waist. Magazine pouches are also available, though they hold only one more magazine.
[Offers Conceal of +2 for any gun.]

Scabbard:
Cost: 65$ (15$ for single magazine pouch, 20$ for double)
The same idea as the IWB, but on the outside, on a belt. Usually worn on the actual hip, with a magazine on the offside.
[Same conceal bonuses as IWB.]

Ankle Holster:
Cost: 40$
A simple scabbard style holster on a Velcro leg sock brace that fits around the ankle. Does not accommodate an extra magazine, and only holds a H-O or Very Light, but excellent for concealment.
[+3 Concealment for H-O or +2 for Very Light]

Metatypes and guns

Well, those are the only holsters I consider actually useful for anyone, there are all manner of gimmik holsters, fanny pack things, crap like that. If you even think about one of those, you're just not suited for the street.

Another thing comes to mind when you want to conceal. No, I'm no racist but really, in SR, meta-type is a big factor.

Trolls:
Any troll can tell you that there hasn't been a gun that rolled off the line that truly large hands were even considered in the design, and nothing truly small with any kind of modification will ever fit into their hands. Guns like derringers, that have no trigger guard could be used, but it takes modification. On the other side, their huge size makes it almost easy to walk down the street with even large guns. Trolls must pay and extra 100$ for each handgun, to get it modified for their hands, without it, they'll be at +2 to TNs to use a gun. They do, on the plus side, get a +2 bonus to concealability on any weapon rifle or smaller. The use of most holdouts (except derringers), and very lights is never an option for a troll, the guns are just too small.

Orks:
They share the same drawbacks are trolls do, in most respects, just to a lesser degree, being not all that much bigger than humans. Orks pay an extra 50$ to have handguns modified, without it, they're +1 to any TNs with the gun. They can't get holdouts modified enough, but they can use the VLPs, and they get a +1 to conceal for any weapon of rifle or smaller.

Elves:
Aside from being a tad taller, elves are essentially the same as the norm that weapons are designed for, so suffer no bad (or good!) modifiers.

Dwarves:
Contrary to popular oppinion, dwarves are not like tiny humans. From the waist up, dwarves are built pretty much the same as humans, that's including their hands. The only thing is, a long coat for a dwarf isn't much bigger than a human jacket, so they only get half the conceal modifiers on it. On the other hand, an ankle holster is just that much closer.
