Warrior Epic by Bordaaf CrimsonForge!

First let me start by saying I was told that if I tried this before 50th level that the items I turned in throughout the quest would be lost. This is COMPLETELY FALSE as I started turning in items for my epic at the wee level of 32.

Here is the order in which I am in process of doing the quest.

Step 1: Lake Rathetear Under the tall Spiroc tower straight out from the South Karana zone. Swimming under that tower in the water will reveal a small brown bag. Pick it up and you have the Unjewelled Dragon Head Hilt.

Step 2: The Planes or other high level zones You need to obtain 3 gems: Black Sapphire, Jacinth, Diamond. These may be obtained as drops from many mobs in the planes and other high level zones. I purchased all of mine in East Commons for 300pp, 300pp, 700pp respectively.

Step 3: Make the trip to East Freeport Take the 3 gems and the Unjewelled Dragon Head Hilt to Wenden Blackhammer in the East Freeport slums area.. You can find him by going between the Leather & Hide shop and the building next to it...now just keep the wall to your left until you come to him.

You say, 'Hail, Wenden Blackhammer'
Wenden Blackhammer says 'What do you need? Be specific, I'm busy right now!
You say, 'what about hilt?'
Wenden Blackhammer says 'What is it you need to be knowing about hilts? Do you need one made or repaired?
You say, 'what about repaired?'
Wenden Blackhammer says 'Well, tell me the name of the hilt you need repaired and I'll see what I can do.
You say, 'unjeweled dragon head hilt'
Wenden Blackhammer says 'That just looks like it's missing some gems. I'm not quite sure what type of gems either but I can tell you two things about them just by the settings. They were all different, and they all were very, very expensive. If I try to put the wrong kind of gems in these slots, it may be ruined forever. I'll do whatever you want, though, just bring me the three gems you want me to try and put in the hilt.
Giving him all four together at once results in this
Wenden Blackhammer begins to fiddle with the hilt, gently pressing the gems into place. It seems to take forever as you watch in silence. Wenden slowly places the last gem in place and gently bends the settings to hold the gems before he hands it back to you. 'That's a very impressive looking hilt there. The material it is made out of seems strangely familiar,' Wenden says as he turns back to his forge and his other work.
You gain experience!! along with the Jewelled Dragon Head Hilt!

Also while here I spoke with Kargek Redblade

You say, 'Hail, Kargek Redblade'
Kargek Redblade looks up from his forge and says, 'Hello there, can I help you?' Your eyes are drawn to an extremely large red sword scabbard strapped to his back with no sword in it. Kargek speaks again, 'I said, can I help you or do you need help from Wenden?'
You say, 'what about scabbard?'
Kargek Redblade turns to look at you and says, 'It is a family heirloom. I might tell you the story behind it if you do me a little favor.'
You say, 'I will do you favor'
Kargek Redblade says 'An associate of mine is wandering somewhere in the Feerrott. His name is Oknoggin Stonesmacker. If you will deliver this note to him, I would appreciate it.
Now this is on your cursor

Now off to Feerrott to find Oknoggin Stonesacker...He can be found just on the east side of the Stone Bridge to the north side...I understand that he is NOT KoS to anyone involving this quest but not being sure below is my following conversations with him with pics to come soon.

Oknoggin Stonesmacker glowers at you dubiously -- what would you like your tombstone to say?
You say, 'Hail, Oknoggin Stonesmacker'
Oknoggin Stonesmacker says 'Yoo leave me 'lone!
Oknoggin Stonesmacker snatches the note from your hand and rips it open with his large hands. 'You take dis to Kargek. He want!' Oknoggin says, as he throws a tiny lute at you.
You gain experience!! Along with the Tiny Lute!

Now back to East Freeport to Kargek Redblade once again

You say, 'Hail, Kargek Redblade'
Kargek Redblade looks up from his forge and says, 'Hello there, can I help you?' Your eyes are drawn to an extremely large red sword scabbard strapped to his back with no sword in it. Kargek speaks again, 'I said, can I help you or do you need help from Wenden?'
At this point I just gave him the Tiny Lute

Kargek Redblade says 'Thank you for delivering the note to my associate. Take this book - it will tell you a little of the history of the old scabbard. If you would like to own the scabbard, seek out my younger brother Tenal and give him the book.
You gain experience!! Along with the Book for Tenal Redblade!

Off to find Tenal Redblade...He is located at the very back of the gorge in East Karana...This gorge I speak of is the one at the base of the ramp to High Hold Pass just go all the way to the back. Not sure of the proper dialog but this is how our conversation went.

You say, 'Hail, Tenal Redblade'
Tenal Redblade says 'What brings you to my home, Bordaaf ? Do you seek knowledge of Rallos Zek and the great wars to come?
You say, 'yes I seek knowledge of Rallos Zek'
Tenal Redblade says 'The armies of Rallos Zek will rise up again, not just the ogres and the giants. I have seen the true path. We humans should also accept the Lord of War. We can cover Norrath in a blanket of red and green blood.
Not seeing this line of dialog getting anywhere I just gave him the book.

Tenal Redblade says 'So, you know my brother Kargek. He is weak and does not believe the legend that our family was chosen by Rallos Zek to bear the great scabbard. Yet he still holds it. Very well, I shall give you the first test since my 'dear' brother seems to have forgotten it. Travel to the fortress where the children of Rallos were first cursed by the Rathe and bring me the heart of one of the goblins who have made it their new home. Do not return without the heart of your foe and this war totem.
You gain experience!! Along with the Totem!

At this point I went adventuring and once again bit off more than I could chew and found out that I had still been bound in Firiona Vie...ack! Oh well, I made the choice to go grab a copper(just in case) from the bank and since I was here I decided to head out after the second hilt which is located at the base of the King on the Chessboard in Timorous Deep. Having nothing to lose other than a copper and some experience I jumped on the boat to the Elven outpost, which is the first shuttle stop headed back towards ButcherBlock mountains, and jumped off swimming my way straight west until I came upon the island. About loc neg6250 pos2250 Not sure what to expect I stood up, still in the water, and took a long hard look around which revealed what I thought was a player character but turned out to be a resident of the island(forgot his name). I carefully made my way to the Chessboard and spied the King,

although very leary of this as I expected a much higher level Chessboard than I found in ButcherBlock Mountains in my younger years. Much to my disbelief I was able to just casually walk up to the King and at its base laid the familiar brown bag so I snatched it up. I now have my Severly Damaged Dragon Head Hilt

I then spied something called a Spiroc which I carefully avoided just in case. I jumped back into the water and after hearing rumors of a teleportal room to most any city also located here and my run of luck getting better I headed south. Let me just say if you happen upon an island south of here stay far away...Raptor Island and MEAN! Glad I heard some talking in /ooc before I ran up on the beach. Eventually I found my way to what looked like the top of a set of Wizard Spires sticking out of the water, about loc neg12260 pos4665. Rumor has it that this portal room lies beyond the ocean floor so down I went(thank goodness Timorous Deep isn't really that deep). At the base of the Spires was a small passage way into the ground so down I went and pop, I fell into a room...ouch 90hp damage. I immediately jumped up looking for that dragon thingy I heard them say conned RED to a 51st level which frequents this area. Not seeing him I pondered a moment seeing many firepots around wondering which went where? So I dug deep into my backpack and found my information buried beneath many maps.

This is the point I am at now with a VERY long time and many levels to go before I can even think of finishing my epic quest. If by chance any groups on the Luclin server have plans on going after any of the next steps even at my lowly levels I would be honored to have the chance to attend if for no other reason than to have the chance to see what I will be up against, along with hoping for the chance to grab another piece or part of my epic! /em dreaming of being the youngest to achieve this goal.

There are many sites out there with Epics Information, here is the one I used. https://www.angelfire.com/games3/EverTry/class_specific/warrior.html#3
