Mariah at a Glance
Maryiah Nefertari walks with a graceful step. Long silky black hair shines softly in the light of the room, reaching to just above her slender hips. Lines of black kohl draw out of the corners of her pale blue eyes across her darkly tanned, smooth skin. Obviously a woman trained in manners and etiquette, she stands about 5'2" with a rather commanding, yet quiet air about her.
The Egyptian woman wears a thick collar of brilliantly polished gold about her delicate neck, studded with gems of brilliant blues, reds and yellows. A set of cuffs, one on each wrist create a matching set with the necklace. Loops of gold, accented with small black onyx stones hang from her ears.
She wears a simple solid white tunic, which reaches just above her knees, and is held tightly just above her hips with a heavy chain belt of gold. Soft brown leather/suede boots reach up to just below her knees, their sides also plated with the expensive metal. Tied securely to her belt with leather thongs, almost as is it was afterthought, is a long sword, its scabbard richly decorated in gold and gems.
The beautiful Egyptian noble woman often seems out of place in the areas she may be found. With a haughty attitude, she scoffs at the lack of cleanliness and wealth she finds among different groups of people. She is in truth, lost, accompanied by a single body guard, and searching for the way back home.
For all her pomp and flare, Maryiah is a bright woman, with a cunning and sharp mind. Her apparel frequently draws negative attention, but she can handle herself.
