Item #154-03: This is a rare 1:64 scale White Lightning car. The Johnny Lightning FAQ tells us that A White Lightning® car is a highly sought after‚ rare variation of their Johnny Lightning® cars. They are produced at the rate of 1% of the production run (plus or minus 10%) and are randomly packaged into the cases shipped to stores and finding one is a real stroke of luck! It does not necessarily have to be "white" to be a White Lightning. You may find one that has only a white chassis or perhaps the body is white or the wheels will say "White Lightning." Their newer packaging is less obvious and heightens the thrill of the hunt. NOTE: In the case of the Xena White Lightning, only the chassis and wheels are white as shown below.  Body detail: Body paint and decals are the same as the Team Lightning car. It has a pink hood fading to a purple roof fading into black for the back of the car. The side decals are of the Xena logo on each door, while under each side mirror is a picture of Xena holding her chakram up. On the hood of the car and also the rear bumper area is another picture of Xena holding her sword above her head. There are lightning strikes going across the front and rear wheel wells as well as the boot and hood areas. There is a Xena logo on the boot area, a large X inside a chakram on the roof and another small Xena logo on the hood of the car. There is a very small Xena logo positioned on the rear toward the right. Front grill is black. |

Wheels: Wheels are white with silver chrome-like rims.
Lights: Rear lights are red, front lights are silver with front indicators being orange. Windows: It has a clear plastic front windshield, rear window and two smaller rear side windows. It doesn't have main door windows. Interior: The interior is all purple with two separate front seats, and one full length rear seat. The steering wheel is on the left. Chassis: The chassis is powder-coated in White and has a Copyright date of 1997 Playing Mantis. It also has a number 558 between the front wheels. Made in China. The ™ and © Studios USA Television Distribution L.L.C. is stamped on in black.  Bottom of the car as seen through the blister Packinging Info: The packaging is the same as the Team Lightning Car. The card measures 18.5cm in height by 15.5cm in width. It has a J-hook at the top, which is reinforced with a plastic backing. In the top left hand corner is the Johnny Lightning logo, while the middle of the card is covered with a large Team Lightning logo. Just above the bubble area is the phrase "DIE-CAST METAL ROAD RODS". In the lower left corner is the choking hazard warning of small parts, not for children under 3 years and the recommendation for those aged 6 and up. The lower right hand corner has a small Playing Mantis logo. The back of the card has some information for the Johnny Lightning Collector Club and contact information for Playing Mantis. |
