Introduction:
When Diablo was first released by Blizzard Ent., it was a game that brought one of three all-male characters (Warrior, Mage and Rogue) against the Evil of Diablo, the Lord of Terror. Travel through lands and constant battles led up to the tumultuous battle with Diablo and the anti-climactic ‘Secret Cow Level’ which was a guy in a cow suit.
Diablo II, the sequel, proves that sequels are better, at least for computer games. With a choice of five characters, the male Barbarian, Necromancer, Paladin and the female Sorceress and Amazon, they were ready to battle new enemies like the demoness Andariel and Diablo’s brother Mephisto, along with ‘Big Red’ himself. But the story didn’t end there...
The expansion, Lord of Destruction is essentially the same as Diablo II, but it adds two new character classes, a female Assassin and a male Druid and a new act which pits your character against Baal, the Lord of Destruction. You need Diablo II to play it.
Both Diablo II and Lord of Destruction have the new ‘Secret Cow Level’ wherein you have to beat the game on Hell mode, the hardest difficulty setting, and defeat 2000 homicidal cows, including the Cow King. Mooooo!
All this is to explain the premise behind this fanfic, which drops the five Gundam Pilots into five character roles of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. We follow our heroes through all five levels and take on Andariel, Duriel, Mephisto, Diablo and Baal. You will NOT sit through endless ‘Blood Runs’ and running to town sell collected stuff and make obscene amounts of money. However, unlike the game, the pilots only have one life to live...

Character Information:
Heero the Paladin: Paladins are warriors of faith, so much more than the Barbarian class. Using the power granted to them by the Gods to battle evil, they are capable of both defensive and offensive auras, as well as considerable combat skills. However, they have a reputation for anal-retentiveness and it is said that shoving a piece of coal up one’s butt will produce a diamond...
Duo the Necromancer: Necromancers are magic users which specialize in the black arts, that of raised dead, golems, curses and weapons of bone and blood. They are the type to stand in a corner, casting spells while their minions engage the enemy. But it’s not as if they are *evil* or anything...
Trowa the Druid: Druids are good for both melee fighting and magic usage. They are part of nature and are capable of summoning animal companions, of shapeshifting and some elemental attacks that, while limited, are very powerful and harness the raw, destructive power of nature.
Quatre the Sorcere(ss)r: A Sorceress is called a ‘Goddess’ or a ‘wimp’ depending on their mana. Certainly a Sorceress’ lightning, cold and fire spells are very powerful, though she has difficulty in hand to hand combat. A Sorceress fights from a distance.
Wufei the Assassin: An Assassin is a capable fighter who fights with feet as well as hands, and favours claw weapons above all. Assassins drop traps on their unsuspecting enemies, use powerful martial arts moves to take down their enemies and learns shadow disciplines to put the finishing touches on an already powerful repetoire of skills.
If I’m lucky, I will find some game images for you all!
