Welcome
to the 70th Infantry Division Clan
|
|
|
|
The 70th Infantry
division was first activated in 1943 at Camp Adair Oregon. It
was activated all the way during World War II, up until October
1945. Many good men lost their lives for Freedom and for what
makes America great. In My mind world war II was one of the
one of the most important and crucial wars in American
history. in 1952 the division was reactivated for
combat. But a couple years later in 1959 they turned the 70th
infantry division, the "Trailblazers" was turned into more
of training division and not as much as for combat. Today the
trailblazers is but a memory in the lives of veterans who were able
to take part and be a trailblazer.

Note:
If there are any vets of the 70th Infantry Division reading this
page and feel somewhat insulted that people have used the name of
your former tour of duty in war I am deeply sorry. If that
isn't enough for you please feel free to email me and maybe we can
work something out. -Yours Truly Calibretto |
