Author’s Notes: Inspired by another fic I read that really made me look at Orli
differently.
He knew about all the whispered conversations. He knew the list as well as they did: Viggo, Karl, Elijah, Dom, Billy, Bean, Craig. They were right, but they didn’t know why.
He was looking for something. He wasn’t sure just what it was, but he knew that he hadn’t found whatever it was. Dave should have been different.
“I don’t think I’m your type, Orli.”
Dave had that something Orli was looking for. Dave would be soft, gentle. Dave who wouldn’t leave just a note on the table the next morning. But Dave had heard what they were saying too.
