Orli studied Viggo over the top of his glass as he took a long drink. Viggo looked right back.

“So, tell me more about this guy that you’re so gone on,” Viggo asked, his voice louder than usual to compensate for the noise in the pub.

Orli blinked at him, “How did you know?” he asked, his expression guarded.

“Elijah,” Viggo answered, at which Orli let loose a string of profanities, all of which Viggo just watched with an indulgent smile.

“Nothing specific,” Viggo clarified, “just that there was some bloke that you were interested in, and he thought I’d want to know.”

Orli made a face at that, but at Viggo’s expectant look, he started speaking.

“Well, he’s amazing. Really smart…….and funny, too. And he’s just so beautiful.”

Viggo nodded, his expression, unreadable, but Orli usually had trouble telling what was going through the older man’s head.

“What’s he like?”

“Well, he looks pretty serious most of the time, se he can seem a bit standoffish, but once you get to know him, you can’t help but fall in love with him.”

Viggo noticed the far off look in the dark eyes of the young man across from him. He took a long drink, relishing the icy swallow of ale before he spoke again.

“And what does he look like?”

Orli paused a moment before he replied, “Well, he’s about my height, really great body. A little more solid then me-“ At which Viggo laughed as he eyed Orlando’s slender frame. Orli gave him a pointed look, obviously considering stopping, but a slight pause, he went on, “and he’s got this longish hair that’s always falling into his eyes, it’s unbelievably cute. And his hands… I just love them, Vig!”

“Uh-huh…so when’s the engagement gonna be announced then?” Viggo asked with a sardonic smile.

Orli’s cheeks colored slightly, “it’s not like that, he doesn’t see me that way,” he protested softly, his eyes downcast.

“Now that I find hard to believe,” Viggo said instantly, an expression of mild surprise on his face

“Who *is* he?” he asked quickly, his curiosity piqued about this man who seemed to be oblivious to Orli, he found that pretty hard to believe.

“Viggo.”

“What?”

“No, I’m not asking you something….his name is Viggo.”

The End.
