She walked over to her big mirror on her door and put on some powder and lip gloss, then brushed her hair. She stood there for a second and wondered if she should go or not. It didn't take long to make up her mind! Of course she was going!
After telling Anne where she was going and getting twenty dollars she walked next door. She put her hand up to knock but didn't get the chance.
Zac opened the door, grabbed her hand and pulled her inside.
"We thought you'd changed your mind!" he told her.
"Nopers! I had alot to unpack and put up," she replied.
Ike stood up and pulled his keys out.
"Ready to go?" he asked. They nodded yes.
"TAY!"Ike yelled, "time to go!" Taylor ran down the steps.
"Ok." he told them.
They yelled bye to Mrs. Hanson then went outside.
Isaac opened the door of his black Honda Civic and Taylor got in on the passengers side.
Zac slapped her on the back. "That leaves you and me in the back buddy!" he told her loudly. She slapped him on the back too.
"Ok." she replied opening the door and getting in.
Isaac started the car up and "Tubthumping" by Chumbawamba was on. Taylor leaned forward to change the station and without thinking she slapped his hand and said "No! I like this song."
Taylor grinned at her when she blushed 'cos she felt dumb for doing that.
"Sorry about that," she apologized.
"It's ok," he replied smiling.
She blushed again. He looked so sexy when he smiled like that!
Meanwhile Zac was really getting into the song and bouncing around. Then he jumped up and stuck his head out of the sun roof.
"Zac! Get down now!" Ike ordered. Zac ignore him of course, so when they got to a stop light and Ike slammed on the brakes Zac fell on Brittany.
"Ouch!"she yelped wriggling out from under him.
"Sorry," he told her giggling. Taylor looked back at her.
"Would you like to adopt him?"he asked her smiling.
"No way!"she replied laughing. Zac pouted at them.
"Meanies,"he mumbled under his breath.
Brittany grinned. "But my best friend Jen would though. She loves 'em!"
Zac perked up at that. "Really?"he inquired.
"Yuppers,"she replied. Zac grinned.
"Ha! I've got a chik,"he told Tay and Ike.
"So,"Isaac replied parking the car. Taylor rolled his eyes at Zac.
"You don't have a chik. One likes you. There's a difference. She could be a dog for all you know,"he told him.
"No she's not!"Brittany protested opening her purse,"I think she's really pretty."
She pulled out her mini photo album and showed them a picture of Jenny. Zac's eyes widened.
"Woah! She's hot!"he exclaimed. Ike whistled. "Yeah pretty much,"he agreed.
"How old is she?"Zac asked excitedly.
"My age. 15."she answered. Zac's face fell. "Oh. She'd never go for me 'cos i'm only 12,"he said softly. "Yes she would! She's always liked you the best,"Brittany told him.
"She has?"he asked hopefully. "Uh huh,"she replied. He smiled and stared at the pic.
Isaac was looking at all her pictures. "Who's this?"he asked pointing to a girl with long golden colored hair, standing on the beah with a two piece bathing suit and some silver sunglasses on.
"Oh! That's my cousin Hope!"she answered.
"Hmmmmm. She looks really good. How old is she?"he asked. "15."
"Does she like older guys?"he asked smiling. "Ya know what i bet she does,"she told him smiling. Hope had a thing for Isaac. She would have to go straight home and call her and Jen both! She frowned and as a wave of homesickness washed over her. She missed Jen and Hope and all her friends so much already and it had only been a day. She sighed. It was fun being with the 3 finest guys in the world but it would have been lots more fun with Jen and Hope.
Taylor got out of the car then helped her out. He smiled at her. "Your homesick huh?"he asked.
She gave him a little smile. "Yeah,"she admitted,"how'd ya know?"
"When we're on tour i feel alot like you just looked,"he told her.
"Well i'm gonna cheer up 'cos i'm not there so i might as well have fun here with you guys!"she told him smiling.
"Good!"he said encouraged smiling. Zac grabbed one of her hands and she got Tay's with the other. He blushed but squeezed her hand tightly and smiled at her. She smiled back and Isaac opened the door of the mall.
They had been there about 5 minutes when the first girl screamed "HANSON!"as loud as she could. Zac yelped and started running off. So did Tay and Ike with Tay dragging her along.
"I hate screaming fans,"he told her running.
"Me too,"she panted trying to keep up. They all ran into Gayfers and hid under a really big rack of clothes. They saw some feet run by and grinned at each other.
"We made it!"Zac cried happily. They all laughed.
"Maybe we should come back another time,"Ike suggested.
"Good idea!"they all agreed. They got up and looked around cautiously then walked out pretty fast.
They had all got in when the screaming girls saw them. They started running over but Isaac sped off.
When they got to their house Tay walked Brittany to her door.
She smiled at him. "I had fun besides the screaming girls,"she told him.
He grinned. "Yeah me too." They stood there for a few minutes just smiling at each other.
"Well I guess I'll go in now,"she told him smiling.
"Ok,"he replied. She leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek real fast. "Bye!"she told him opening the door and running inside. He stood there for a second. "Bye!"he called to the closed door. He smiled and walked down the steps, thinking to himself that he would have to give her a call tomorrow.
