Five

"So… any ideas on what we're gonna swipe and sell?" Lex asked rolling over in her bed, and staring out into the darkness in the direction of Summer's bed. "Cause I don't think Tay's gonna stick with the plan for too long once he starts thinking about what he has to do and all, ya know?"
   Only silence answered her.
After a few moments, Lex was giving up on getting a verbal answer. About to roll over to try and fall asleep Summer sat up quickly in bed causing Lex to jerk up as well. "Geez, what?!"
Remaining quiet, Summer got up and turned on the light.
Lex flinched from the sudden change, "God, you couldn't warn me about that or something?" She questioned rubbing at her now stinging eyes. "When God said let there be light, he wasn't joking was he?"
After her eyes adjusted, she squinted at her sister. Who was sitting on the edge of her bed, grinning quite maliciously. "Oh… something bad is about to happen, huh?" She asked propping herself up on her elbow.
Her grin broadening even more, Summer nodded. "Wouldn't it be so awesome if we somehow managed to get a matching outfit from Zac Hanson's wardrobe?"
Lex's brow wrinkled with thought; "Yeah… but it'd have to be a well-known one of people wouldn't believe it was actually his."
Summer giggled gleefully, "Ya know, I always did love those yellow leather pants and the yellow Doc's that he has…" Her shoulders shrugged, "And everyone remembers the blue shirt with the white zigzagging line on it from the Where's The Love video…"
Lex put her hand quickly over her mouth before she started laughing. She nodded, "It would do well…" she admitted seriously.
"Oh yeah." Giggling some more, she slapped hands with her sister.
Turning off the light, they still giggled in the darkness. When they quieted down some Summer smiled as she stared up at the ceiling; "Somehow, for some reason," she started, "Tomorrow's looking a lot better!"
After trying to settle down again, Summer took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Waiting to drift off to sleep, she yawned and turned her head, snuggling under her sheet and thin blanket.
It was only seconds before her alarm went off, blaring part of a song to awaken the sleepers in the bedroom.
Before the line of 'bye bye bye' could finish, Summer's arm shot reflexively out from under her covers and threw the clock down onto the hardwood flooring. Pulling the blankets over her head she started mumbling, "Piece of shit boy bad, can't sing or dance, ebonic retarded monkey with a blonde brillo-pad…"
Lex laughed tiredly from under her own covers. "Agreed." She muttered sticking her head out from her sheet.
Rolling over, she blinked several times trying to focus her blurry gaze. "Damn, didn't we just close our eyes?"
Pulling the blankets down from her face Summer turned to her and nodded. "Yeah huh."
"Ugh." Lex groaned, pulling her blanket back over her head. "Then today is really gonna suck."
"Lex," Summer began as she yawned, her hand rubbed her forehead. "How can a day not suck when it starts off by that damn song and the sun shining, huh?"
The blanket moved from her nodding, "Good point."
Jerking back the covers, Summer slowly stood. "I get shower first." She grumbled, grabbing a handful of clothes from her dresser drawers before walking out.
Lex nodded again, "I'll... stay right here." She murmured before yawning herself and closing her eyes again.
