"You're ride's here." Jakob relayed as he stood up and stretched from their seats on the steps.

Zac laughed and stood as well, his head shaking in amazement. "I'll never cease to be amazed by ya, man." He commented smiling.

Jakob smiled back at him, "Just remember," He said giving him a brotherly hug. "I've had a lot of experience."

Wincing, Zac nodded. "Yeah, I know." He answered softly. Of course I know. I think about it almost constantly. He scorned himself.

"I'll see ya tomorrow." Jakob said slapping his back. "And stop thinking!" He cajoled lightly, but in all seriousness.

"Okay, later man." He called as his backpack slammed against his back while racing towards the white mini van. "Hey, all." He said after opening the sliding door and jumping in.

When he turned to see who was seated next to him, he smiled so big his face could tear in two. "Hey!" He said excitedly.

"Hey, back." Summer said laughing, as she leaned in for a small hug. "So how'd it go today."

The question roughly brought his mind back to his new student Mechelle. Quickly shaking his head, he placed a smile on his lips and nodded. "It was good." He said before laughing. "It's always good here."

"Mom said to pick up some milk, spaghetti stuff, and some diapers and baby wipes from the store before we go home." Isaac said looking in his rearview mirror at him.

Zac shrugged, "Fine with me."

Taylor turned around from the passenger's seat and smirked, "I doubt he was asking for your permission, Zac." He said rolling his eyes, making Summer and Isaac laugh.

"Then why'd he say it like he was?" Zac asked defiantly.

Summer grinned, "Maybe he was just letting you in on what was happening." She suggested.

"But…" Zac started before Isaac interrupted. "You know, I can fight my own battles. But thank you Summer and Tay."

Taylor grinned looking over at his older brother. "Welcome. It's what we're here for." He said winking at her.

Summer laughed, "Yeah." She agreed.

"So are you eating with us?" Zac asked once the whole episode ended.

"Yep, I sure am." She said smiling and nodding. "I think my mom just wanted to get rid of me this evening."

Zac laughed, "Okay, why would she do that?"

She shrugged nonchalantly, "I think it was because I almost blew up the house again. This time trying to make lunch…" Her voice trailed off when the three guys started laughing loudly.

"Again?!" Zac questioned between laughs.

Summer laughed too and smacked his arm for laughing at her so much, "Yeah, but it wasn't my fault!" She stated defensively, her arms crossing in front of her. "No one told me aluminum foil does not belong in the microwave."

"Oh man." Isaac said shaking his head, a smile placed wide on his lips, while Taylor and Zac were both doubled over in their laughing fits.

"That’s sad." Taylor said wiping the tears from the corner of his eyes.

Summer nodded in agreement. "It is, that was the last appliance that would still talk to me." She pouted, causing them to laugh even more.
