"Uh, Kayla?" Taylor asked after entering Kayla's room for the first time.
"Mmm?" Kayla said, turning around to face him.
"Why am I seeing myself?" Taylor asked, gazing around at the posters of himself and his brothers tacked up on Kayla's wall's.
"They've been there for ages... before that time you came for dinner for the first time..." Kayla said, sitting down on her bed. She patted the space next to her, signalling to Taylor that she wanted him to sit down next to her. He sat, feeling uneasy about the posters. Before he could say another word about them, Kayla leaned forward and placed her lips on his. Their kisses grew deeper and more urgent. Kayla laid back on her bed and pulled Taylor down so that his top half was on top of her. Suddenly Taylor sat up.
"I can't do this" He said.
"What? Taylor... what are you talking about? You can't kiss me?" Kayla asked, sitting up.
"No, it's not that... it's the posters... I can feel them watching me!" Taylor said as he got up and started to pace around Kayla's room.
"Tay... that's a stupid thing to say... the posters can not see or hear you!" Kayla said.
"Well, they're driving me crazy... can't you just take them down?"
"Taylor! do you realize how long that would take? and it would be a waste of time considering I'll just put them right back up when you leave." Kayla said, wondering what had gotten into her boyfriend. Taylor sighed and sat down in the middle of the floor in her room. He then picked at some lose carpet threads.
"Why do you have to have posters of me up when you see me all the time anyway?" Taylor asked, looking up at Kayla.
"Because I don't see you all the time. What about when you start touring again? I know your home for the summer but that's nearly over and then when will I see you? once, maybe twice every couple of weeks or so?" Kayla asked. Getting up from her bed, she sat down next to Taylor. There she reached over and pushed the door so that it was shut.
"You've got pictures... you don't have to keep the posters up" Taylor said. Kayla sighed. She could see that Taylor was going to be stubborn about this. But then again, so was she. It was her room and if she wanted the posters up then they would stay up.
"I'm not taking the posters down" Kayla said stubbornly. Taylor groaned and flopped back onto the floor. He then raised his head and grinned at her.
"Come here" He said and pulled her close to him. Then he started to kiss her. Kayla laughed and pulled away.
"If you think that will work then you're really wrong." She said, grinning.
"Damn" Taylor replied. He then sat up but Kayla stayed lying down on the floor. Taylor traced around the outline of Kayla's lips and then went down her chin, neck and finally down to her chest. He then leaned down and kissed her. As he kissed Kayla, his hand went down to the bottom of Kayla's shirt. He then edged his hand up her shirt and headed for her bra. Taylor felt Kayla tense up when he slipped his hand onto her breast but she didn't tell him to stop. Kayla soon relaxed as she realized that she liked the feeling of Taylor's hands on her. Kayla's hands left his back and travelled up to the back of his head. There she ran her fingers through Taylor's hair and then traced little circles on the nape of his neck. Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Kayla and Taylor sprang apart and Kayla pulled her shirt down.
"Y-Yeah?" She called out as Taylor stood up and went over to Kayla's CD collection. Jaymi stuck her head in through the doorway.
"You can't fool me. I know what you two were doing" Jaymi said cheerfully. Taylor blushed and Kayla glared at her sister. "Anyway, C.J, Zac, Ike and I are gonna see a movie... do you guy's want to come?" Jaymi asked. Kayla looked at Taylor and he shrugged.
"Yeah... ok" Kayla said, answering for both of them.
"Great... we're leaving now" Jaymi said, holding the door open so Taylor and Kayla could walk out of Kayla's room. Once the three of them were downstairs, Jaymi scribbled a note to Mrs. Bennet and then the six of them crammed themselves into Isaac's car. Once they got to the movie's, they then fought over what to see. The girls wanted to see City of Angels but the boys wanted to see Godzilla. Finally they decided to separate. Much to C.J and Zac's pleasure.
---------------------------------------------
"This movie is crap!" Taylor whined quietly to Isaac. Taylor was in a shitty mood because he had chosen to see a movie that he wasn't really interested in all because Isaac and Zac wanted him to see it. Also, he could have been with Kayla at this very moment, making out, but he wasn't. What he was thinking of doing was walking out of this movie and go into see City of Angels with Kayla.
"Shut up! We didn't twist your arm to come see it or anything!" Isaac whispered back. Taylor rolled his eyes. Just then a pretty blonde came and sat down in the seat next to Isaac. She looked about 17 and had long blonde hair, what looked like dark eyes and a great figure. She smiled at Isaac, then turned her attention on the movie. Suddenly she started to giggle.
"You know what?..I haven't the faintest idea on what's going on in this...would you mind filling me in?" She asked Isaac, flashing him a amazing smile. Isaac nodded then proceeded to tell the girl what had happened so far in the movie.
"Thanks...now it'll be so much easier to follow...by the way..my name is Gemmah." She introduced herself to Isaac. Taylor slumped back in his seat. He thought of loudly mentioning something about Jaymi to his brother, who was flirting majorly with this girl, but then decided against it, knowing that he would pay with his life if he did. Isaac was enjoying this, it had been a fairly long time since anyone but Jaymi had paid this kind of attention to him. The reason being the guys weren't on tour.
"Hi..I'm Isaac" Isaac smiled at her. She smiled back.
"I know... you have that cute little band with your brothers don't you? Hanson or something isn't it?". Isaac blushed, and nodded.
"Yeah, it's Hanson" He said, not able to make the words sound right. Gemmah then sat back and watched the rest of the movie in silence, only glancing over at Isaac every now and then. Just before the movie finished, Gemmah pulled a piece of scrap paper out of her purse, then scribbled something on it. She then handed it to Isaac. On it was: Call me sometime! Under that was Gemmah's phone number. Isaac just looked at the paper in his hand. He then looked up at Gemmah and saw that she was smiling at him. The movie finished and the lights came on. Gemmah said goodbye and walked out of the theatre. Taylor eyed his brother.
"Better wipe your face Ike"
"What?"
"Wipe that dopey grin off your face before Jaymi sees it. Remember her? your girlfriend?" Taylor emphasized on the word girlfriend.
"Shut up Taylor"
"Whatever" Taylor said and walked out of the theatre. As soon as he stepped through the doors he wished he hadn't. A group of about 6 girls were standing right near the doors and one of them looked over at him. Once she recognized him her eye's went wide and her mouth opened into a big O. "OH MY-" was all that the girl could get out. Taylor ran for it,heading for the boy's bathroom with Isaac and Zac right behind them. The three of them raced into the bathroom and stood against the door.
"God I hate that" Zac moaned.
"And we don't?" Isaac asked sarcastically.
"No.. you two love it" Zac replied. The boy's waited for fifteen minutes before peeking through the door to see if the girls were there. There was no sign of them. They walked out of the bathroom and waited for the girls movie to finish. 20 minutes later the doors opened and Jaymi, Kayla and C.J walked out, all in tears.
"Oh my god... you're crying because of a movie?" Zac asked.
"Well it was sad!" Jaymi defended her and the other two. Zac rolled his eyes.
"Yeah right" He said.
"Fine, don't believe us" C.J said. Zac once again rolled his eye's and walked ahead of the group.
"What is his problem?" C.J wondered out loud.
"Don't worry about him. He just gets moody a lot" Taylor said.
"Oh.. ok then" C.J said, knowing that Taylor was just trying to make her feel better. She wished it had worked. C.J had been in Tulsa for a week and she had seen Zac nearly everyday due to the twins going to the Hanson household a lot. Also Mrs. Bennet went there a lot to because she was friends with Mrs. Hanson. Zac had treated her ok after she had said that he was weak but now he was back to being rude and mean again. Oh well, let him be mean C.J thought to herself I can be just as mean back to him! C.J. was not planning on becoming friends with Zachary Hanson anytime soon. That she knew.
