Riddle Time!

You are in a house and you have to turn on the light in the room upstairs.There are three switches downstairs.You have to pick one to turn on the light,but you don't know which switch.You can go upstairs only once to check if the light is on.You can't see the room from where the light switch is. You can only try one switch at a time.Do you know the answer?E-mail me and I'll post your name on my website!!

Possible Answer? Kallie sent me this answer:*You go outside, look in the window, and see if there is a light coming from the room.*

Since no one got the answer,I will tell you what it is.You try the first switch,then turn it off.Then you turn on the second switch and go upstairs to the room.If the light is on,you know it's the second switch.If it's off,check the bulb,and if it's warm,it was the first switch.If it's cold,it is the third switch.Look for a new riddle soon!
