The ROOSEVELT, Originally a school
house, (which is included in the National Register of Historic
Places), built in 1905, and remodeled in 1994 into a bed and breakfast.
It was named after the 26th president, Theodore Roosevelt. We
chose the rose as our theme throughout the building, celebrating
the name Roosevelt meaning "Rose field" in Dutch.
The beautiful red brick building
with its steeple; shaded by maple trees, offers traditional elegance
with modern comforts and warm hospitality. Two antique furnished
parlors and dining area featuring lovely leaded glass windows
and a hand painted mural welcome you on the main floor. A winding
rose mural runs up the wall along the original school staircase.
We serve full gourmet breakfasts
that are pleasing to the eye, tantalizing to the taste buds, and
satisfying to the tummy!. Your Hosts, (the Hough family), will
make your stay an enjoyable one.
